Hannah's POV.

"So how was your first day here? Did ya like it?" Collin asks me, trying to start a conversation and make small talk. Well at least it isn't anything deep or depressing.

"It was nice, I made some new friends." I shrug, being honest with him. I had like two friends, unless he was my friend, then I'd have three. I didn't consider Dakota, Matt or Taylor as friends because I didn't really talk to them as much as I did Savannah and Will.

I rolled over on my back, sitting up against the headboard. I could see myself in my huge mirror that was on the wall in front of my bed. I looked like a complete mess. My hair was everywhere and my eyes were still droopy and sleepy looking. I was tired.

"That's good. When I first came here from Cali, I didn't make friends as easily. People just didn't know me." He shrugs and gives me a small smile, "But you're nice, you will make a lot of new friends." He assures me, nodding his head. I really didn't want to make any new friends. I was fine with the two or three that I had right now, I didn't need any more than that.

He sees how I didn't look very pleased to be on this subject, so he quickly changes it. "Dude, I have a dog! Her name is Bella and she's really sweet. She likes to sleep with me and when we lived down in Cali, she would go swimming in the ocean while I was out surfing. She's a really cool dog. She's a golden retriever, we've had her for as long as I can remember." He tells me, smiling as he talks about his dog, Bella. He must really love that dog, he did say that he's had her for a long time.

We talked for quite awhile that night, learning the little things about each other, things that might not have seemed important to other people but I was hanging on every single word that was coming out of his mouth. I couldn't help it, I just found this boy so interesting. He eventually ended up falling asleep on me though, like literally, falling asleep on me out of nowhere. One minute he was talking about how much he enjoyed eating tacos, because they were his favorite food, besides brownies, then, next thing I know he was out like a light. It was cute though, how he had fallen asleep without hanging up the facetime call. He was so adorable when he was sleeping, his face all squished up. He looked so peaceful.

I was almost about to fall asleep when I heard a raspy and very sleepy voice, softly call out my name. "Hannah, don't fall asleep on me." Collin whined, begging me to stay up with him even longer than I already had. Of course I didn't mind it at all. I really enjoyed talking to him but I expected him to be fast asleep again in around ten minutes.

"I won't fall asleep on you." I tell him, trying my hardest not to smile at the cute little moment that we just had but I failed, miserably. I was smiling widely, like a goofball, and probably looked absolutely stupid right now. I just couldn't help myself, this boy made me smile, he made my heart melt.
