"This is fantastic news! We need to get the word out right now!" said Carl

"No good. This plan has to work perfectly in order to save humanity. Keeping this out of public eye will minimize chance of failure." said an executive.

"Understandable. But, how do you plan on wheeling a decommissioned space shuttle to the launch pad?" asked Carl.

"With all the commotion you caused, it shouldn't be too hard. The launch pad closest to the VAB is owned by SpaceX, so we'll have to get Elon Musk in on our plan." answered one executive.

"We had better work fast then. We have 3 days to make this work." said Carl.

"We might be cutting it close, but we get Atlantis into orbit with a few hours to spend, if everything goes to plan. The fuel tank and boosters are on their way to the VAB from storage, and the Atlantis is being removed from display right now. The only problem is, we don't have many qualified astronauts on board. Most of them know that the shuttle program was ended for a reason. Those things were death traps. They chickened out. We do however, have a very experienced pilot up our sleeve. He should be here soon."

The door opened.

"Hello boys, pleasure to be here." said Buzz Aldrin.

"Oh my god! Buzz Aldrin is going to save the world! This is gonna be great!" Said Carl

"Don't get too excited, kid." said Buzz Aldrin. "We're gonna need a good speaker to talk to the aliens on our behalf. If we're gonna save humanity, you're coming up in the Atlantis with me."
