PART II- Of Two Winks,No Blinks

Marinette frantically transformed into Ladybug, as she ran back into the room full of civilians who have been akumatized.

"Surrender Cat! Marinette is mine!" Evillustrator pointed his pencil devilishly at Chat, who failed to snatch it.

Lady Wifi was being a minx and started throwing locks and pauses everywhere.

In purrfect timing Ladybug pulled Chat Noir away from a pause button. She knew her tiny room wasn't enough for a battle. So she slung herself and Chat to safety on other rooftops.

"My lady, Marinette, how did they come back?" Chat asked as the continued jumping from house to house. Looking over shoulders in case of akumatized villains.

"I don't know." Ladybug paused as she didn't see a single trace of the villains. Chat sat down on the point of the house.

Ladybug plopped down next to him. Beeps were heard coming from his ring.

Chat gave a small mischievous laugh. Ladybug looked at him with a raised brow.

"I guess it's masks off today." Chat Noir tapped his foot anxiously against the top of the roof.

"Did you use cataclysm in my room?" Ladybug eyed Chat in suspicion. He squinted one eye, and started to look the other way.

BEEP BEEP

"One paw left." Chat looked down at his ring. Ladybug took a glance as well. "I understand if you no longer want to know me." Chat sighed his head sinking low in disgust of himself.

"Listen,Chat. You're my friend, and no matter what you can never be a lower rank." Ladybug pulled him into a gentle hug.

"What about a higher rank?"
