Marinette sat in the empty bakery. It had been around 3:36 am. Why is she up so early?
It happened to be her birthday and for some reason she just woke up and felt the need to go downstairs.
Knock knock.
Two soft knocks were heard from the store front. So Marinette walked over peering out the door to see whom it is.
Chat Noir.
She slowly creaked the door open for the Parisian hero. Sure he wasn't very close with her alter ego, but he was like a brother to Ladybug.
But lately the darn cat has been stopping by her home. And I guess they kind of bonded more.
"What do you want?" Marinette groggily asked.
"Whoa, easy Mari, just wanted to make sure that I said Happy Birthday before anyone else could." Chat smirked, that slowly turned into a genuine smile.
"Thanks Minou. But why are you up so early?"
"Why are you up so early Princess?"
"I asked you first."
"And, I, asked you second."
"Just couldn't sleep, now why were you up so early Chat Noir." Marinette raised a brow.
"To say Happy Birthday!" Chat cheered.
"What if I wasn't awake?"
"I'd guess I'd say Happy Birthday in my alter ego." Chat snickers in his somewhat successful plan.
"Wait do you even know me when, you, aren't you?" Marinette spat.
"Too much to say Princess."
Marinette groans as she kicks the darn cat out of her house.
