"One Vanilla Frappuccino please," I requested, smiling at the barista behind the counter.

"Mocha Frappe for me!" Lexi and Chase chimed in unison. They stared at each other before starting to laugh with Ryder soon joining in.

I just rolled my eyes, a small smile forming on my lips. They were having a good day.

Ryder gave his order and paid for all of our drinks right after. Someone was feeling generous. We didn't argue and just decided to get a table.

After about a minute, Ryder's name was called, and he headed to our table, all our drinks in hand.

I checked my watch while sipping on my frappe.

7:55 a.m.

"Let's leave in like 15 minutes? It's already 7:55. We still have to look for our classrooms. Is that okay with you?" I asked, looking up from my watch.

They answered with a chorus of 'yeah's and 'sure's, before they continued their conversation.

I wasn't really interested with their topic so, I just got my phone and checked my social media accounts.

After about 10 minutes, we were all finished with our drinks.

"Do you want to go already? We have like ten more minutes before 8:15," I asked them.

"We can go now. We would have more time to find our classrooms," Lexi suggested.

And with that, we all agreed, and headed back to school.

We got there after about five minutes, due to the constant bickering of my brother and sister.

"Sorry about them, Chase. They're just always like this," we were already in the school by that time.

Luckily, all four of our lockers were beside each other.

"Guys, can't you just settle this later?" I asked, and they just sighed with a small nod.

"Why do I always have to be the one who always breaks your fights? And can't you do this another time? You guys are bothering Chase," I was annoyed.

"It's okay. I'm used to it. Xander and I always have arguments too. Just like this," Chase assured us.

"Okay. Sorry Alex. We have to go though," Ryder reminded us.

We went our separate ways, Chase and Lexi going together for Literature, Ryder going to Calculus, while I looked for my History classroom.

"Oh, sorry," a voice apologized as I was bumped, my books falling along with me.

"No worries, it's okay," I said, just as I heard the first bell. Only five minutes left.

"Let me help you," I looked up and saw a guy.

Black hair, green eyes, black shirt, jeans, and a pair of pristine Adidas shoes, standing right in front of me. It was that cute guy Lexi showed me. The football guy.

"I don't think we know each other. I'm Luke, by the way. Judging by the look on your face, you're new here. Only four minutes left, you don't wanna be late," Luke told me.

"Yeah, I'm new. Can you, by any chance, help me get to Mr. Jameson's History class?" I asked him.

Luke helped me get my books that were all sprawled on the floor.

"Yup, sure. That's actually my first class. You're going the wrong way, it's there," he said, pointing to the opposite side I was going to.

"Well then, let's go. We don't wanna be late," I huffed, straightening my hair out.
