Alex always said, every day is a good day.

She was so wrong.

Everyday was a bad day, well not everyday, but the day of our first day of school was. I'm not usually negative, but Alex and Ryder woke me up so early, and to top that off, it was, again, the first day of school.

The day really couldn't get any worse.

I wasn't really listening to Alex and Ryder's conversation, so I just pretended like I was so intrigued by what they were talking about because honestly, it really just bored me to death.

Who wouldn't get bored if someone woke them up at six o'clock sharp just to be forced to listen to a discussion about clothes?

They finally ended arguing. It was one of the only times that they argue.

We, or rather they, finished their intense discussion at about 6:45. Forty five minutes of torture I could've used to sleep instead.

"And that's all for our outfits of the day," Alex grinned once she and Ryder agreed on what we would wear.

I didn't know when it started, but there was kind of always some sort of agreement for our clothes on the first day of school every year.

Wow. They woke me up and I did nothing.

That was a waste of my precious time. I could have been sleeping all that time or at least done something productive like a jog around the block or anything but listen to them disagreeing on the clothes we'd wear just for the day.

"Lex, take a bath already. We're going to change already. Your clothes are ready inside the bathroom. We'll get the jacket ready for you," Alex informed me, and Ryder nodded.

"Don't forget the lollipop," I reminded them politely before I went in the bathroom.

So, I got ready. It took me only about fifteen minutes to take a bath and get changed.

When I got back in the room, Ryder handed me my cola flavored lollipop while dancing weirdly.

"Thanks, Ry-ry," I told him, laughing. He just nodded, smiling goofily at me and told me to hurry up. Whoever decided he was a "bad boy" at our old school clearly didn't know him very well.

I grabbed my jacket, exactly identical with my siblings, aside from the first name that was written on the sleeve, together with my shoes, bag, phone and of course, my (arguably) favorite thing in the whole world, my skateboard.

Then, we headed out to fetch Chase, not before taking some granola bars and a bit of fruit for breakfast.

We woke up extra early to plan our outfits. We always did that on our first days of school.

Why? Alex.

Alex and I had been arguing since six in the morning, disagreeing on what outfits we were going to wear for the first day of school. Since we were "trying to build a new respectable reputation" in our new school, we figured a good place to start would be how we presented ourselves.

My sister and I realized that we were never going to agree on something if we didn't change something, so we ditched the whole "trying to build a respectable reputation" thing, and we finally agreed on something.

Lexi was useless in the conversation, as always.

Once we finished, Alex told Lexi to get ready and I was ordered to get Lexi her lollipop. Of course, like the good brother I was, I got it for her and waited to give it to her after she took a bath and changed.
