The next day, Christina arrived at school as happy as a bee. She was so happy to see her friend James. Mrs. Bee gave her a few papers on the things that she missed for the last week, but it wasn't that much since they started school. When they got to lunch, Christina and James shared a big bowl of grapes that he brought for lunch.

"And why are you so happy, today?" James winked.

"I'm going to have a little brother or sister!" Christina smiled.

"Oh really?" James cheesed. "Congratulations!"

"Thanks." Christina snorted as she bit into her sandwich. "I hope that it's a little girl so that I can do her hair and stuff!"

"No. You should have a boy!" James smiled with his high lisp. "They're tough!"

"But they're nasty. And who wants a boy to act just like you?" Christina joked as she gave him a goofy look.

"Oh, whatever." James growled.

As Christina ate, she watched a barbecue wing fall out of his bag. She glanced down at it, then looked back up at him in a disappointed way. James gave her a look of shame, then glanced back down.

"James, I thought that we said that healthy foods only?" Christina growled.

"I have been doing good for a little while...." James lied, glancing down.

"Have you been eating foods with more than 150 calories?" Christina barked. "Have you been drinking a lot of pop?"

James didn't say anything. Christina was growing highly frustrated from his lack of progression.

"James I'm angry because I'm trying to see you get better!" Christina barked. "I just don't want anything to happen to you. Especially as a friend!"

"I know it's just......" James paused. "I can't do it. I'm a failure."

"Don't talk like that, James. Do you hear me?" Christina said in a stern tone. "These assholes here have been telling you so much lies that they actually have you believing that."

"OOOH." James grinned. "You cussed!"

"Sorry, I'm just mad." Christina laughed. "Don't tell anybody, okay?"

"I won't." James smiled.

Suddenly, Abby, Brooke, and Maya walked up to them again. Christina looked up at the girls as they gave her an angry look.

"May I help you?" Christina asked, giving them the same look.

"Look, can we talk to you really quick?" Abby snarled.

"I guess." Christina groaned as she stood up. "I'll be right back, James."

It was beyond obvious that Abby was the leader of their "pack" because Maya and Brooke were always following behind her. As they walked a little far away, Abby scoffed and looked at Christina.

"Why didn't you come to my slumber party?" Abby whined. "We were waiting for you to arrive."

Christina had completely forgot about it. However, she couldn't do anything about it because she was trapped in a hotel for a full week.

"I'm so so so sorry. Me and my mother had to stay out somewhere for a week." Christina whined back. "I'll tell you what, throw another one this weekend and I'll definitely come to that one."

"Okay." Abby smiled. "Did you want to come eat lunch with us?"

"Nah." Christina said as she shook her head. "I want to eat with James today."
