Never being to a concert before in my life, this was huge. I would have never thought I would be standing in the front row of a Jonas Brothers concert. The screaming fans around me where getting pretty crazy. It was like they have been waiting their whole lives to see these boys. I looked around me and saw that many were teenagers but others were older women. I looked back at the stage and couldn't help but laugh. Seeing older women screaming for Nick Jonas was kind of repulsing. They were willing to... do stuff with him even if he was way younger than they were.
Out of nowhere, scaring me half to death, music began to play from the huge speakers surrounding the venue. Screams got louder and I saw three figures run on to the stage as their band began to play some music. Girls were screaming their heads off and I had to cover my ears. I looked around a little annoyed but then looked back on to the stage. I always knew the Jonas Brothers were the best, I've been a fan since they started off. But this gave me a whole new level of being a fan. The way the three boys gleamed on stage was almost magical. Their smiles were huge, their guitars ready to be played, and Nick... He looked happy to be where he was, which made me happy.
"Heellllllloooooo California!!!" Joe screamed into the microphone. Girls screamed even more now. I wasn't a big fan of loud noises, but whatever, I'd cope to see Nick, Joe, and Kevin rock out.
"For this concert, it really is all of our albums combine. We will be singing songs from 'It's About Time' and 'Jonas Brothers'," Kevin explained to the venue.
Just then, as some more girls screamed, one of the girls sitting next to me asked her friend beside her, "What songs are on 'It's About Time'?"
I rolled my eyes and just focused on the stage. A great pet peeve of mine was when fans weren't really fans. A fan should know all titles of the band, correct? I even knew.
The boys were done explaining and they began to do what they do best. The familiar music to "Kids of the Future" began to blast through out the whole venue.
"We're the kids! We're the kids! We're the kids of the future!" they began to sing. As they did, I looked over at Nick. I could see his eyes scanning for someone in the room. Girls began to sing along, and I am guilty of doing that as well. I could never not sing when I heard their angelic voices. Nick was looking for someone, possibly me, but I didn't get too excited. Girls began to push and shove to get closer to the stage. Being up front, I was beginning to get a little squished. The song continued as the girls got a little more pushier. They were gonna do whatever they wanted to get to the front and have one of the Jonas boys to touch them, see them, realize their existence.
As the concert continued, I was basically shoved against the gate that was in front of the stage. My stomach was right up against it and I was dying. The security guards were getting upset at me too! I was not doing the pushing and shoving. I was feeling a tad miserable. As the boys finished off their last number, I heard Nick's voice on the mic.
"This next number is really special to me. I recently sang it with a... a friend of mine. I forgot how special it was to me and yeah, I hope she's here to hear it," Nick said with a soft smile on his face.
I heard the guitar begin then Nick's voice once more, 'There she goes again, the girl I'm in love with. It's cool we're just friends."
My heart began to speed up a little as he sang. This had to be our song, no? I began to sing along with the song with all my might. The bridge of the song came and he had finally found me in the crowd. He smiled and sang the song, almost as if he were singing it to me. My lips were moving along to the lyrics and my smile was staying on no matter what at that point. I ignored the pushing and shoving and just watched Nick.
The song soon ended as well did the concert. Everyone was trying to get back stage, including me. Only, I had right to, cause I was with the Jonas Brothers. No one was gonna believe that at all. I saw a body guard and walked over to him. "Excuse me, can I go in? I'm with the boys," I said and showed him my backstage pass. The body guard eyed me then let me through. I smiled and walked towards the boys.
"Sooo? How did you like the show?" Joe asked and nudged me playfully.
"You guys were absolutely amazing! I loved every single part of it! Well besides the getting squished part," I replied and laughed.
"Boys, your meet and greet starts in five minutes. We need you out in your chairs and the table," a security guard said and began to lead them to the meet and greet room.
Nick looked at me and smiled softly, "You can come out with me or you can stay in a room, so you don't get trampled by some crazy fans. Your choice."
"I'll take the risk," I said and smiled as I followed him out to their chairs and table. I got a chair as well but I sat behind them against the wall. The meet and greet began and girls swarmed in. The guards did their absolute best trying to keep every girl calmed down and in a single file line. Girls were crying tears of joy, laughing nervously, and some being absolutely calm.
Of course, all of them noticed me, but no one knew who the heck I was. Some smiled at me while other glared at me. Being myself, I just smiled and shrugged it off. It was like a never ending line of girls. They asked for pictures, autographs and some even asked about me. Some were bitter about it while other were oblivious.
The line was finally dying down and we were to the last few groups. I looked at the girls, one of them looking familiar. She was from earlier, the one that Joe couldn't keep his eyes off of. "Hello there, I'm Joe," Joe said softly to her with a grin. The girl brushed her bangs out of her face and smiled with a slight blush.
Her hair was down to her middle back, a mixture of brown colors. Her eyes were a light brown and she brushed her hair out of her face. "Hi, I'm.. my name.. I'm Courtney," she finally replied. Anyone who was anyone knew she was a sack of nerves. Joe talked to the girl then the security guard. A chair was placed beside me and the girl that Joe was speaking to sat beside me.
"Hi there, I'm Jazmin," I said introducing myself. We shook each others hands and we began to talk. I explained how I was on the tour with the boys and we began to talk like we have known each other our whole lives. A few minutes later Kevin pulled over a girl with really dark brown hair, and straight down her back. Her name was Amanda and she had the deepest green eyes. Just as she was introducing herself, a girl had gotten a chair and sat down beside me. We looked at her smiling a bit confused.
"Umm.. Hi..? I'm Jazmin, that's Courtney and that's Amanda. Who are you..?" I asked as we looked at her.
"Oh sorry! My name's Reagan. Nick asked me to sit back here with you girls. It's for like a backstage pass type of thing," Reagan said.
"Oh, Joe picked me to stay back here.." Courtney spoke up and she looked at me. My head was spinning and my heart was beating hard.
The boys finished off their meet and greet and it was time to head to another room. It was the room they basically chill in, almost like a dressing room. We all went in there and we all sat down. Kevin sat with Amanda, Joe and Courtney were on two chairs, and Nick sat with Miss Reagan on the love seat. Did I not just kiss him earlier? He kissed me earlier, not me, he made the move!
I sat in a desk chair and looked from one person to the other. Kevin looked at me, then Nick and Reagan. He looked back at me and mouthed that he was sorry. My heart felt like it was splitting into two halves. I looked up at the light bulb wanting anything else to look at besides Nick and his new girl. It was like it was Nick's intention to make me hurt...
