"Thank you momma!!  You're the best and I love you so!" I quickly stated as I hugged her and kissed her soft cheek.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah.  But no messing around alright!?" she said, giving me the stern mom look.  I nodded and shut her bedroom door.

Heading towards my room, I turned the light on and grabbed a pair of green gym shorts and an oversize gray shirt.  I tore the lace dress off of my body and placed it on my twin bed.  I slid into my shorts and pulled my shirt on.  Sliding my slippers on, I turned the light off and hurried down the stairs.

It was official now that my mom said it was alright.  It was way after the party now, about nine at night.  In the living room sat two of my cousins, Christina and Suzy, and the three boys.  "My mom gave the okay for the sleepover!  As long as the girls sleep in my room and the boys sleep here in the living room," I said and they all cheered.

In no time, they also grabbed their pajamas and we were all set for the sleepover.  We were all sitting in a circle on the floor in the living room.  The six of us simply looked at each other, wondering what it was that we could do.  Nick was stroking my hair and my cousin Suzy was sitting as close as possible to Joe.

"I've got an idea.  How about we play truth or dare?" Kevin suggested as he sat up.  "Only lets not get too crazy since Yolanda is sleeping upstairs," he said and we laughed quietly.

We all agreed that truth or dare was the game we were all going to go with.  We figured it would be fun and exciting.  Gathering around the wooden floor, we made a circle and looked from eyes to eyes.  No one volunteered to go first.  I never would go first in anything.  I like to observe then take my chances.  Nick looked over to Joe and Joe looked directly to Nick.

"Truth or dare Nick?" Joe asked, a sly smile creeping onto his face.  I was guessing the Jonas brothers often had Truth or Dare games.  The wild look in Joe's eyes made my cousins laugh.  I smiled and shook my head as I looked over to Nick, waiting for his response.

"Dare me brother," Nick replied, his voice completely serious and his eyes squinting over at Joe.  Joe beamed with excitement.  I had a feeling this was going to be crazy.  Joe was looking around the house.  He was deciding on what he wanted Nick to do.  I could feel Nick wanting to do his dare already.  "Joseph just pick something," Nick sighed as he shook his head impatiently.

Joe stood up and looked out at the pool through the sliding door.  I could see where this was going.  Although it was summer, the pool had no heater built into it.  It was probably really really cold.  But I knew that wasn't going to stop Joe from daring Nick into jumping into the pool.  Joe snapped his head to look back at his younger brother.  "I dare you Nick to jump in the pool-"

"I totally called it," I said and smirked as I shook my head at Joe, "I thought you would be a bit more creative Joe."  Then the smirk he shot me made my stomach turn a bit.

"You didn't let me finish.  What I was going to say was I dare you Nick to jump in the pool while holding Jazmin.  Making the two of you getting into the water," Joe finished off proudly.  Okay that I had no idea was coming.  I glared my brown eyes at Joe and sighed.

Nick stood up and he helped me off the ground.  He gave an apologetic smile and walked towards the sliding door.  I could hear the shuffling of feet behind us, the group following us outside to my backyard.  The moon was way up in the sky and stars were seen twinkling by.  I looked down towards my lit up pool.  The water was still, inviting Nick and I to jump in.

Nick looked at me and smiled as he placed his left hand against my back and he held his right arm out for me to swing my legs over.  I always was uncomfortable whenever someone picked me up.  I didn't want them to be breathing super hard because I was too heavy.  Swinging my legs over his arm, Nick was now holding me like a baby and he wasn't breaking a sweat.
