We were sat on the couch facing each other, while I looked at my fingers not quiet sure how to start.
"You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to." Liam broke the silence.
"No I will... Just it's really hard to relive it again, I mean it'll be the second time in like twenty-four hours." I explained not looking at him, sighing as I realized, I really just needed to get it over with. "Okay so I've known Darren since I was about eleven or twelve and my mom needed a babysitter for me. Darren was my father's friend's son and he was like twenty or so. At first everything was fine, we got along great, even became really good friends. A routine had begun to form; I'd go to school; have my driver drop me off at Darren's; we'd play some board game, though most of the time we played a video game or went swimming; have dinner together, either us making it together or ordering take out; and then I'd go home, starting the process all over the next morning. I didn't know that normally people didn't eat intimate dinners with their babysitters until it was to late." I sighed once more before setting my gaze on tracing the pattern on the rug that was under the glass coffee table. "One day something was off and I could tell right from the start. Darren hadn't been acting like himself for the past few days but he'd always text me wishing me good luck at school, and be waiting by the door, when I got to his house. I couldn't even find him in the kitchen -where he'd sometimes be waiting with a smile and a snack- so I began to head up the stairs, slowly though because I didn't know if there was someone else in the house. I called his name numerous times but he didn't answer. Not until I got to the big golden double doors at the end of the hall. I remember the first time I saw the door, it looked so pretty and I stared at in awe, I even reached a hand out to touch it but Darren told me never to go in there. I listened like the good little girl I was. That day he called me into the room saying it was alright, so I obeyed and sat on the bed when he asked me to." My breath grew ragged. "He asked me if I wanted to play a game and I told him yes, because we usually had such fun together." I had tears rapidly falling from my eyes now.
"Shhh. Shhh lovely. It's alright. You don't have to tell me." He pulled me into his lap, hugging me close. "I don't want to know if it's that painful to remember."
*A/N: AHHH weird P.O.V change*
Liam's P.O.V
"He asked me if I wanted to play a game and I told him yes, because we usually had such a fun time together." Tears were spilling from her eyes and I couldn't resist the urge to cuddle her to my chest.
"Shhh. Shhh, lovely. It's alright, You don't have to tell me." I cooed, pulling her into my lap, keeping her as close as possible without hurting her. "I don't want to know if it's that painful to remember." I lied. The truth was I wanted to know everything before I went and killed that stupid piece shi-
"Liam," I looked down at her. "r-remember that n-night y-you sav-ed m-e." She hiccuped. I nodded slowly, not quiet sure where this was going. "I- That-... it wouldn't have been the first time." she mumbled almost in audible. I felt white hot fire run through my body, and I clenched my fist, squeezing her even closer to me, as if that would make that never have happened. Slowly I pulled her off me and onto the couch, standing up without a word. "L-Liam wha-t a-are you do-ing?" She hiccuped. I looked at her and felt every bit of anger -that had previously clouded my mind- drain from my body.
"Nothing I'm sorry love." I sat down next to her and she instantly crawled back into my lap, clutching my T-shirt with her fists.
"J-just don't l-leave m-e." She whimpered, shivering. Seeing that I pulled her closer while grabbing the blanket on the back of the couch, covering her with it. "Thank you Li-Li." Arura hummed.
"Anything for you lovely." I turned so I was laying on my back, and she was curled up on my chest, with her fists clenching my shirt tightly, shutting her eyes in contentment, as I gently pet her hair. "Anything for you." I repeated, kissing her head.
