"How do you know the Gregar's, Niall?"

We had ended up at a small, but well known, restaurant in the downtown half of the city.

"Troy, the guy I came in with, is a cousin from Ireland or something. We've been friends since primary school and I was just visiting him when he heard about Tom."

I racked my brain for another question to ask him. I wasn't into the type of music he played, and I didn't know much about him. Truthfully, the only reason I was doing this was because Steven had told me to stay put, plus from what Niall had said I figured they weren't fond of each other.

So, leaving in addition to being with Niall would piss him of royally.

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I smiled apologetically at Niall as I picked it up.

[NEW MESSAGE; STEVEN]

Where the hell are you? I told you to stay put. Fucking bitch.

[MESSAGE SENT; STEVEN]

You don't own me. And don't get your panties in a wad, I'm fine. Just go home and I'll be there later.

I switched my phone off and slid in into my purse.

" Any trouble?" Niall asked

"No... Just my boyfriend."

"Ahh, so Steven, does he treat you right?"

I felt my face burn. Maybe Niall knew more about Steven than I thought.

"Oh, yeah. Just fine."

The waitress walked over with our orders.

A cheeseburger and fries for Niall. And a small salad and water for me.

"That all your gonna eat?" he asked looking at me then my plate. " it's hardly a meal."

Before I could protest he grabbed a handful of fries and put them on my plate.

"Thanks." I whispered quietly, knowing I wouldn't touch them.

After a little while the concierge came up to our table.

" I would like to confirm that it is okay if a third person joins you. He says you know him."

Both of our heads swiveled in the direction of the doors.

Steven stood there with a confident smile on his face.

How the hell had he found me.

"Yeah, " Niall spoke. " we know him."
