"Sophia, how?" Nathan asks.
"I was the next chosen one," I stammer as I stare into his charcoal eyes.
"You look even better in person," he whispers like he's too scared to say it.
"I thought you were just a dream," I say boldly. I don't care if anyone else hears me, it's finally time for me to tell everyone.
"Sophia, what's going on?" Johnny places his hand on my shoulder. Nathan stiffens but he can't do anything else because he's trapped in the circle of candles.
"Um, first we should sit down," I turn to Johnny and Trevor then find a place to sit. I decided on the old looking rocking chair in the corner.
"How do you two know each other?" Trevor asks.
"When I was five," I start, "I had these weird dreams that always caused me to wake up dreaming. Every time I woke up, I couldn't remember what it was about. My mom brought me to a therapist but they didn't help. One night when I was sleeping, Nathan came to me in a dream. He told me that a faerie has corrupted me, he promised to help which he did. After he helped me, he kept coming to me in my dreams and we just sat and talked. He helped me with my life like when I was being bullied by some kids that lived on my street. Then one day he just stopped coming and I slowly forgot him until I never thought of him again."
"Soph," I gasp. Nobody calls me that, "I'm sorry."
I turn towards Nathan, "Why?"
"I'm the Vampire King, I have a kingdom of vampires to take care of."
An idea pops into my head, "Hey Nathan."
"Yea?"
"Can you making someone that's dead come back alive?" I need Liam's help.
"Yea but not permanently, for only like a few years," he shrugs like it's not a very long time.
"Can you-"
Nathan snaps his fingers and Liam appears.
"How?" I was completely shocked. How did he know that I wanted Liam to come back. Unless...
He taps his head.
Wow, can like everyone read people's minds?
"No," Trevor and Nathan say at the same time. Johnny and Liam are standing there dumbfounded.
"Long story," I smile at them.
"So Nathan, can you take all of us to the Seelie Queen?" I ask him finally realizing how much I miss Jackson.
"Yes but it's gonna cost you."
"How much?" I roll my eyes impatiently. I just want to see Jackson again.
"Not money. I want to help you fight," he looks at me like he's not joking.
I never expected this...
