Inside, Hugo and the princesses were warming up.

"I'm so looking forward to the competition, Dad," Hugo beamed.

"Good to know, but where's Sofia?" Garrick asked.

The whole group saw that Sofia had disappeared.

"Oh, dear, Sofia is gone," Adara gasped in a sarcastic tone. "That's too bad."

"What's that moving under the blanket?" Princess Lakshmi asked.

There was a big lump moving underneath a blue blanket. Hugo lifted the edge of the blanket, and Sofia poked her head out from underneath.

"Are we playing hide and seek, Sofia?" giggled Hugo.

"Sofia is so silly," Garrick chuckled.

Hugo started laughing at Sofia's silliness. Adara glared at Sofia jealously—she wished Sofia didn't keep stealing Hugo's attention away.

After school, Adara tried to get Hugo's attention. "Prince Hugo, I never got to tell you what a great ice dancer you are," she gushed.

"Thank you, Adara," Hugo said. "When Sofia first learned how to ice dancing, she was having a little trouble, but I taught her everything she knows."

Adara's smile dropped the minute Hugo mentioned Sofia. "You taught Sofia how to ice dance?" she frowned.

"Yeah, and now she's one of the best ice dancers at Royal Prep," Hugo smiled.

"Hugo, there you are," Garrick said, coming up to his youngest son.

"Do you want to get started on making our costumes in sewing class?" Sofia asked, holding up a book. "I have a book that'll give us inspiration."

"Okay," Hugo smiled.

Adara didn't like this one bit.

The jealous Adara really didn't like Sofia. Every time she tried to get Hugo's attention, Sofia shows up, and Hugo starts paying attention to her and ignoring Adara herself. She didn't understand why Hugo liked Sofia so much.
