The Ice-Dancing Competition

The next month had come by quickly, and Sofia and Hugo were dressed in their costumes, ready to perform their routine. As soon as it was their turn, they got out onto the ice.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the ice Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo!" the announcer blared.

The crowd went wild as Sofia and Hugo were ready to begin.

As soon as Sofia and Hugo started the routine, Hugo lifted Sofia off the ice, her skates leaving a trail of sparkles as she spun. Then he tossed her up, Sofia performing a flip as she landed. Then Sofia and Hugo both performed a quadruple fireball flip, which made the crowd go wild. Hugo boosted Sofia up in the air, and they floated in the air, leaving sparkles as they flipped. Then Hugo took Sofia by one hand and held her up with his other hand, spinning around. Finally, Sofia leapt in the air, Hugo circling her. Then they joined hands as they landed and struck a finishing pose.

The whole crowd went completely wild and gave the duo a standing ovation. Sofia and Hugo had a lot of fun doing that routine, and they wished they could keep going.

Later, it was time to announce the winner (or winners) of the competition. Sofia and Hugo were really nervous when the second and third place winners got their medallions.

Finally, one of the judges announced, "First place goes to Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo!"

Sofia and Hugo couldn't believe it. A little gold medal was pinned to Sofia's dress, and Hugo received a gold medallion. The prince and princess were very proud of themselves.

When it was time to leave, Sofia and Hugo met up with Adara and their families.

"That was a great job, Sofia," James smiled.

"I can't be any prouder than I already am, baby bro," Axel grinned.

Sofia and Hugo saw Adara and Derek coming toward them. "You guys were great," she smiled.

"Thanks, Adara," Sofia smiled.

Hugo was really happy that Sofia and Adara were getting along.

"Well, champ, if you and Sofia keep this up, you'll probably be world champions before you know it," Garrick smiled.

"We might," Hugo smiled. "I just don't know what could make this any better than it is already."

Everyone was really happy. Adara had learned a big lesson: it wasn't okay to do anything bad to anyone just because of jealousy. Sofia and Hugo had won their very first ice-dancing competition, and Adara had reconciled and become friends with Sofia.
