Inside, Garrick examined Sofia's ankle carefully. "Oh, I'm afraid you've sprained your ankle, Sofia," he sighed.

Sofia and Hugo were dismayed.

"Oh, so much for the competition," Sofia sighed sadly.

"Oh, you can still join Hugo in the competition," Garrick told her. "It's not until next month."

Sofia and Hugo sighed in relief. They were happy that Adara didn't really ruin their chance for the competition, but it meant she reduced their practice time.

"Well, I'm going to see what got into that Adara," Garrick said.

"I can take care of Sofia's ankle, Dad," Hugo offered.

"Thank you, champ," Garrick smiled.

When Garrick left to see Flora, Hugo took out a bandage, and he started to carefully wrap Sofia's ankle. "Is that too tight?" he asked.

"No, it feels fine," Sofia answered.

As soon as Hugo finished wrapping Sofia's ankle, Garrick, Flora, and Adara came in.

"Sofia, I believe you deserve an apology from Princess Adara here," Garrick said.

Adara timidly went up to Sofia and confessed, "Sofia, I really didn't mean all those bad things I did to you. I just wanted a little attention from Prince Hugo, but every time you come around, he starts paying attention to you and ignoring me. I was so jealous I wanted you out of the picture."

Sofia was still mad at Adara, but she felt a little bad for her. "I see," she said flatly. "Well, rudeness and arrogance are not the very best ways to get attention from someone you like."

Adara felt really bad about what she did. "I'm sorry, Sofia," she apologized. "I was wrong to make you look bad in front of Hugo, and you totally deserve him. I'm pretty sure I'll think twice before I do something like this."

"Well, you really hurt my feelings, but it's alright, Adara," Sofia smiled.

"No, it's not okay," Adara insisted. "Now I made you sprain your ankle, and I reduced your practice time for your competition. I wish I could make it up to you for this mess I got you in."

Sofia and Hugo thought about it, and they both had the same thought.

"Well, there is something," Sofia smiled. She thought it would be nice if Adara could give her opinion on the costumes for the ice-dancing competition.
