When I woke up I realised I was in the same room I had woken up in previously. A blanket had been thrown on-top of me and my leg had been bandaged, they should really mention these things about IPods. It was a good thing all my songs from it were on my IPhone too, I could get it repaired, but I would have to ask someone for units. That would be embarrassing. The Ship was quiet it sounded like everyone had gone to sleep, but I knew not everyone would be asleep, someone needs to be flying the craft. I got up slow and steady and found that my heart was beating rapidly by the time I made it to the door frame. My leg hurt a lot worse than I thought it would. I hobbled to the deck to see who was driving and found Rocket, in the front seat, gliding the ship amongst the stars. I attempted to lean on a chair which I found out that I calculated was not as close to me as I thought, when I crashed onto the floor once again. Rocket snapped his head at me, "Holy shit, I thought you were some sort of intruder. Can't sleep?" He asked me. "Nah, I needed my music." I grappled onto the platform beside me to find my iPhone on the dash board next to Quill's cassette player. I couldn't find the ear phones so I just put the music on medium volume, I put on Fall Out boy's Centuries as we drifted past a cluster of stars. "This song is cool, who's it by?" Rocket asked. I knew he wouldn't know who it would be so I just told him and he grunted in appreciation. "Where are we going exactly?" This seemed to take Rocket by surprise but he knew it was coming. "We are going to Claytex." I remembered Claytex it is a planet found deep in a constellation, its moon is a far off red star and its sun is a burning blue planet. It's the planet of opposites, felt like home. "What are we gonna do there?" I said it like we were going on a field trip. "We are going to find a way to clear your name."
A couple hours later Groot woke up, he creeped up next to me as 'World go Boom' by YouTube sensation DJ Earworm came on my IPhone he started waving his arms about to the beat and it made me laugh...A LOT. I was coughing up a hair ball within a minute and started to feel bile rising up my throat, "where's the nearest toilet?" I asked quickly. "Take a left than a right as soon as you get out the door." Rocket replied. I changed into a cheetah and bolted towards the bathroom, I forgot all about my thigh though and crashed down a step ladder. I didn't bother getting up, I was in a cold, dark room, it stank of something long dead and it just made me throw up even more. The previous consumptions I had made spilled out before me, which wasn't a lot and it just make my stomach groan louder. "Molly?" I heard Rocket call from the control room. I heard him scuttle his way above and he almost went past the opening of the step ladder but then I vomited once more. "Oh freakin' hell." Rocket jumped down the ladder and skidded towards me. "What happened?" I was ashamed of the two mistakes I had made in the last 3 minutes. I just turned my head into my arm and shivered, starved and fell into the darkness surrounding us.
My eyes fluttered open to the sound of the landing gear being deployed, another bandage had been messily applied around my waist, I saw that my clothes had been stripped and my tank top and shorts were the only things I was wearing. "Rocket better not have done this... ah crap." I jinxed it, I saw the ripped cloth spread out before my bed and spotted that Rocket hadn't even bothered with scissors. Groot must have carried me to the spare bed room for I knew rocket could lift a gun but not a whole creature. My stomach sounded off as I caught the scent of meat. Outside... we weren't on Claytex. We were somewhere else. I hobbled up the step ladders and made my way to the control room to find the guardians of the galaxy gathered round my iPhone. "What is it?" Drax asked. I shoved past them to find Siri going on about rock minerals and other crazy shit. "That's the search engine, Siri." I switched the technical helper off. "Where are we anyway?" Rocket stepped towards me, his small scratch on his cheek quivering with the smile developing on his face. "We knew you didn't like plant food unless it's... catnip." He started to crack up a little bit at the thought of my pupils growing until I was lost in a playful daze. I gave him a deadly stare. "Ahem. So, we landed on a vegetated planet with other animals on it." I was surprised at Rocket's thoughtfulness and started to cry a little bit. "Thanks, no-one has ever been so nice to me before, nobody like you guys." They all smiled at me, warm and radiant, not like the fake smiles I got back on my home planet. This started to look more and more like a family every day I spent with them.
Once Rocket and Groot (Mainly Groot) helped me out of the ship, I caught sight of all the beautiful plant life growing around us, it was like the terran rainforest I had heard about, called the Amazon. But bigger and more colourful, filled with multi-coloured flowers and vines that grew with the help of trees in every direction the eye could see. I could smell all the different life-forms and when I closed my eyes, a new set out of the planet unfolded in front of my eye-lids. I could smell every insect, every wild animal, every different life, growing and dying. Suddenly I smelt the familiar scent of gazelle. The taste of its flesh lingered on my mouth and I opened my eyes to my hunting senses kicking in. I bounced off of the ground, shifting into the form of a cheetah, no longer feeling the pain around my waist and leg for I was thirsty for blood.
I lost track of the gazelle once or twice for this jungle was wild and tangled into unknown barriers and platforms that seemed impossible to get by. I found the scent and flew into a better position, where I could see from above the many canopies of growing trees. The sky was an amazing shade of blue, it reminded me so much of terra, even if I've never been there. I saw the Gazelle in the gaps of intertwining branches. It was awesome, I turned into a king fisher bird and dived into the small gap between the trunks of ancient saplings. I then leapt into action after changing back into a cheetah and pouncing on the fear stricken animal. It was put out of its misery a couple heart beats later, the creature's lifeless eyes stared up at me as I began to skin it with my razor-sharp claws. My fangs sank into its neck and I carried it in the direction of the way I came.
When I got near the ships chosen clearing, I shifted myself into a lion to give myself the better advantage of sharper fangs. I found new hunger as soon as I feasted myself upon the dead life form, I had finished my meal within mere minutes. I cut its horn off and sharpened it into a harpoon-like knife with the occasional help of my teeth and a pointy branch I found on the ground. My claws were the main tool though, by the time I had changed back into my original form and started carving animal print patterns into the ivory. I placed it into my mouth and changed into a lion once again as I made my way towards the space-craft with my holo-bike hiked over the side. Rocket was the first one to spot me as my brow hit the two sun's light. It was a truly majestic moment as I just stood there for a moment, savouring the warmth as the suns began to set. Rocket ran out of the craft on all fours and met me in the shade of the trees as the second sun dipped out of view. Night time slipped over the clearing as stars peeked into our vision. I caught a glimpse of my torn clothing lying on the ground. If I changed back now, I would be bare. So I stayed in lion-form, Rocket sat down beside me looking at the view set out before us. "Nice night, huh?" I bowed my head in appreciation for his passion of the view. I felt more at peace here, more...wild.
