I sigh as cold air makes my cheeks turn a bright red. It's the middle of December, and it's really cold. I make my way out to my truck and sigh, I really need to get a new car... I get in and the tears instantly start flowing. I smack the steering wheel and cry out. "I can't... I can't anymore..." I say starting up the car and speeding off on the road.

"Brittany," I scream as I see Stefan in the rearview mirror. "Stefan! What the hell are you doing in the back of my car?!" I scream and slide onto the side of the road. "Look Brit, you need to stop letting Damon treat you so badly... I know he's the one you love, but if he doesn't feel the same way... there's not really anything you can do about it." He says looking everywhere except at me.

"I know Stefan... I know.. but I can't just stop loving someone after they told me they loved me too..." He shakes his head and sighs.

"I love you Brittany. Why can't you see that I love you and I wouldn't treat you the way Damon does." He sighs and lays his head on the back of the head rest. I turn back to him and stare into his hazel eyes. "I didn't know you felt that way..." I say turning away and looking at my feet.

"How did you not notice? It hurt so bad when you and Damon started dating but I didn't say anything because your guys' happiness matters most to me..." I make my way over the front seat and I sit in the back with him.  "I'm sorry Stefan. Do you still feel the same way?" I look into his eyes for a split second and then quickly look away. Stefan holds my face in his hands so I'm still looking into his eyes instead of at my feet.

"Yes, I do." He leans in and I feel our lips connect. It feels like electricity as I smile into the kiss. "I like you too." I whisper as we both lay in the back seat of the car. "Be mine." Stefan states and I laugh a little.

"Of course." I reply and lay in the crook of his neck.
