Love Triangle (TVD)

Chapter 1

I wake up on a sunny day in June. "Happy Birthday Brittany!" Yelled my brother. Today was my eighteenth birthday and I've been saving up to move out and live in my own apartment. I got up and ran to the shower. I washed my wavy dark chocolate brown hair. I got out and wrapped a towel around me tightly. I went to my dresser. I pick out a pair of converse and a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans paired with a black cropped top with fringe hanging loosely from the bottom. I put my hair up in a ponytail and do my make up. I put on bb cream, then put translucent powder on. Then I put a gold shimmery eye shadow on. I put on a light pink lip gloss then curl my lashes and put on a thin coat of mascara. I run downstairs and walk into the kitchen. "Hi sweetie." My mom said. "Happy Birthday Brittany." I smiled and nodded to her. "Come here and open your presents. Then we'll talk about you moving." My dad said. I smiled and walked over to my presents. The first one rapped with baby pink with big polka-dots of gold. I ripped it open and inside was a new pair of platform heels in light pink. "Thank you guys!" I said to my mom and dad. "You're welcome Brit." My dad said. I moved the ripped wrapping paper to reveal another wrapped box. I unwrapped it carefully. It was a small box. Very small. I opened a jewelry box and inside was a gold infinity ring. I smiled. The hugged my mom and dad again. I had one last gift. Which was wrapped in bright yellow wrapping... "Why is it in yellow?" My mom shrugged and smiled. I grabbed it and started to unwrap. Then pulled open the flaps of the cardboard box. It was a new purse. I smiled and screamed quietly. "Thank you so much! I love it!" It was a brown pleather cross-body bag with fringe at the bottom. "Look inside the bag." My dad said. I looked at him confused. "O-ok.." I said. I opened it and inside was a new wallet. Floral print. I opened the wallet and inside was 2000 dollars?! "We know you're ready to move out and you have your own money but we wanted to help you out. So there you go sweetie. Hope you like it!" My mom said. "Thank you! I'll visit you as many times as I can!" I said. After cake I said my goodbyes and walked out the door. I walked to my car. A Ford truck. Yep.. A truck. But it was better than nothing. I drove down the road to the apartment I was going to look at. I walked inside.

~Few Hours Later~

I walked inside my new apartment. "My own apartment." I whispered to myself as I laid on my new queen size bed. My apartment was a decent size. Maybe medium size in apartment sizes. I guess. I walked into the hall to go shopping for new clothes and food. Just what I needed. I walked into the hall and ran into someone. "Oh I'm sorry." I said quickly. "No it was my fault." I looked up and saw beautiful blue eyes. "Hi, I'm Brittany." I said still looking into the ocean blue eyes. "I'm Damon." He said smirking. "So Brittany, where are you going?" I smiled. "Shopping, I just moved in." I pointed to my room. He nodded. "Well see you around then?" He said. "Sure." I said. He smiled. "Bye." I said and walked away. I got into my truck and drove the the nearest mall.
