"Run." And that I did. After I turned the corner, I looked down at the knife in my hand, covered in scarlet liquid. I had taken a life. An innocent life. I slid down the wall, only to hear footsteps.
"She went this way!" The voices came closer and closer. I couldn't escape. A man turned the corner, and looked right at me.
"She's here!" He ran towards me with his sword. Then I could no longer see him. I looked up to see a woman. She was so pretty. She smiled. Then I heard a familiar voice.
"Come with us." It was that boy. "Come with us and we will protect you. You'll never have to run. Ever again." He held out his hand. I reached out, and grabbed it.
