Kachi's POV
I left the hiding place she loved so much. "Father." I turned and looked at her.
"I didn't hurt her. I didn't. I love her."
"You are covered in her blo-" I was cut off with pain. Through my stomach. I looked down to see a knife through my stomach. Then it was pulled out. A boy, a bit older than Abbey, but younger than me, walked into my vision.
"Oh, Brother. Look how far you've come. Did you not think that I would come back to haunt you tyrants? That I wouldn't come and save her from you? She is my sister."
"She is my daughter, I wish her no harm."
"No HARM?! Like you meant me, your son, no harm?! You killed me!"
"DADDY!!" Abbey. No. Stay back. It's no use. I can't move, can't make a sound. "Who is tha-" she stopped looking at me, and collapsed beside me. "Daddy, you hurt Kachi too? Like you hurt Mother? He was right."
"Abbey, I didn't." He looked her in the eyes. "Abbey, I would never hurt any of you."
"You lie!" Jethro, our brother interrupted. "You mean to kill us all. Wipe us out and start a better family. Far from here, only you will survive, but we will survive and we will bring vengeance with us." Abbey looked from Jethro to Father. Then back to me.
"Kachi, Kachi, please don't go. Stay with us. We are family."
"You still refuse to give up on him?"
"I still must keep my promise to strive to save people, even those far beyond saving. Anyone lost in the darkness of the death of this world. I will save them."
"Quite a speech, but how will you escape the death of your own world?" He said, reaching out and stabbing her. "I will survive! Three lights shine in the death of this world on will shine victoriously as two are drowned by it's light."
"All of this for a children's poem?"
"It isn't a poem, it is our fate." He said, running off into the distance.
"Do you want to live? Come with me and I can give you life, my young Abel."
"I am not Abel I am Kachi."
"Come with me, Kachi, and I will give you rule over this world."
"My sister. My Abbey."
"She has a different fate. A darker fate."
