Japan, 1333
My family and their army prepared for the war ahead. Japan would soon be ours. We were strong enough to win this fight. We were already to the Emperor's palace, just one last fight left. We would kill the Emperor and his family, and we would reign. We walked into the room the Emperor had barricaded his family and himself in. My father marched up to him, drew his sword, and swung. At that very moment, the sound of small footsteps stopped behind me, and pain coursed through my veins. I turned to see the Emperor's youngest daughter, blood covering her tiny hands, which gripped tightly onto the knife. I looked into her eyes. Fear. She was so scared. I smiled, then whispered "Run."Soon, my father's men evacuated, and I was left alone to die.
