Kasumi's POV
After dinner, everyone headed to bed, except me. I walked outside. Through the garden, out the gates, and away from the mansion. I hear someone clear their throat beside me. "Kas, I assume you've heard the rumors from Dave?"
"Yes, Leon. Now, what does the man upstairs and his minions know?"
"I don't appreciate being called a minion, but I don't know as much as 'the man upstairs' does. I do know, we don't have anything to do with it. These could just be rumors. I mean, there have been similar rumors about you guys attacking us, but that's against the agreements."
"These are not just rumors. I know they aren't."
"Kas, calm down. I should go, so should you. They will start looking for us soon."
Zach's POV
I followed Kasumi, in my cat form, out the gates. She turned and started talking to some angel. This wasn't the first time I caught her talking to him. Of course, we all knew him. Leon. He was one of us. he betrayed us. I looked back at her, she was getting a bit worked up. Soon, he walked away, leaving her alone. I turned to go back before she caught me. "Zachary." Shit....
"Yes, Kas?"
"If you tell anyone, I swear to Chaos, I will torture you."
