Authors Note: Oh glob! Okay, I can't believe how stupid I was! So, apparently I forgot to name "Chapter 8 (part 2)"! But don't worry, I just named it. So don't freak out on me. Lol sorry :P
{Fionna's POV}
I woke up and smiled at the sight I saw. Marshall Lee the Vampire King. I kissed him on the cheek. His beautiful dark chocolate eyes opened. I remembered that I fell asleep at Marshall's.
"Morning, Marshmallow." He laughed. I smiled.
"Hey Fi." He said, probably still tired. He wasn't much of a morning person, well, vampire...
" Oh slamacow! I gotta get back to Cake. She's going to kill me!" I shoved my hair into my bunny hat.
"Oh ok... See ya tomorrow?" Marshall asked. I smiled.
"Course." I kissed him on the cheek. I still wasn't used to dating. Although, Flame Prince and I kinda had a thing, it was an awkward relationship. I put my backpack on and speeded out the door.
As I was running, I smelled something, odd. I looked down. Gross! I slept at Marshall's two days in a row without a shower or change of clothes! How embarrassing. Oh glob, he probably thinks I'm some pig.
I looked in front of me to see the treehouse door. I opened it. To see an much expected picture. Cake tapping her foot and crossing her arms.
"Girl, you have got to stop running off like this. I was worried sick!" She said, in a very parenting voice, if you ask me.
"I'm sorry, Cake. But... It's just," I paused.
"It's just what? You can tell me anything, sugar." Another nickname. Glob, could make a log book of each name she called me.
"I'm almost 18. I'm not that little girl, anymore. Cake, I'm almost... Well, an adult." I said. She looked down at the floor, uncrossing her arms.
"Fionna, I know and I'm sorry. I just, don't know. You're the real deal. Everyone in Aaa loves you! Everyone would be devastated if you got hurt." She said.
"Oh, so that's what it is? If I were hanging out with Gumball, you wouldn't care about my safety! It's just Marshall Lee, isn't it?" I got angry with Cake.
"Baby, I-" She started.
"No Cake. I'm done with it! It's just so annoying. Ya, he's a vampire, so he must be evil!" I argued.
"Well, yes. Vampires ARE evil." Cake said. UGH!
"Oh ya, Cake, I guess you're right. Always going with the stereotypes! Well then," I took off my hat, "I'm blonde so I must be dumb!" I yelled at Cake.
"Fionna! Go to your room! You're being selfish and ignorant!" Cake yelled. Wow, "go to your room"? Seriously, Cake? I'm not a child!
I crossed my arms.
"Make me!" I yelled. She lowered her eyebrows.
"Fionna! You're being ridiculous!" She screamed.
"Well maybe, that's what I am! Ridiculous!" I yelled back.
"Well then, I HATE RIDICULOUS!" She screamed. I stopped. She did, too.
"Cake..." I said, hurt.
"N-no! Fi-" she started.
"SAVE IT! I'm leaving." I said.
"And where to?" She asked.
"Why would you care? After all, you hate me." I argued. She stayed silent. Thinking. I got two plastic bags, and shoved my clothes, brush, and girl stuff. I slung my backpack around my shoulder. And carried my two plastic bags.
"Leave me alone." I said, before closing the door and leaving. I was headed towards Marshall's.
