{Fionna's POV}
I woke up on Marshall's bed... Without Marshall? I was confused and looked on the ground. There he was sleeping, on the floor. I smiled and shook him a little.
"Huh?" He woke up, slightly. Making me smile.
"You were sleeping on the floor." I said to him. He looked down at himself.
"Hmm... Oh yeah." He then climbed up onto the bed and fell asleep. Heh, he must be tired, unlike me. I got up and picked out my outfit. I got short shorts and a spaghetti strap. I haven't really been wearing my bunny hat. That was my teenage years. Ya, I guess I'm still a teenager, but I'm more grown up. I decided to do something I haven't got the guts to do for a long time. I went downstairs to the kitchen. I got some scissors. And I cut my hair. I put all the hair into the trashcan. I cut it to be short. Really short. In the back, it was boy short, and the front it went down to my shoulders. I liked the style. But then I realized something. Marshall loved my long hair. Oh glob. What was he going to do? I then put on my bunny hat.
{Marshall's POV}
I woke up and heard the TV from downstairs. I knew it was Fionna. I went downstairs.
"Hey Fio." I said. She looked at me with droopy eyes.
"Hi, Marsh." She said, lowly.
"Uhh, Fio. You okay?" I asked. She nodded, slowly. "Fi," I said. She then spit it out.
"Fine! I'm not okay! I'm ugly!" She yelled.
"Uhh... No your not, Fio." I said. She took off her bunny hat.
"Yes, I am!" She yelled at me. Gee, girly emotions. She c-cut her hair. I went over and looked at the trashcan. Hair. Her beautiful hair.
"Fionna, you're not ugly." I said. She just came over and turned around. Her hair was shorter than mine, in the back.
"Marshall, I'm going to change my look." She said, firmly.
"What, why? You're beautiful, already." She blushed and then shook her head.
"Marshall, just don't argue with me, on this one." She put her hand up, stopping me. She walked into the bedroom and came out with shoes on.
"Lets go." She said. I nodded and we went to the candy barber's house. His house, because we didn't want to be seen in public. He almost fainted when he saw Fionna's hair.
"We need it dyed." I said. He scratched the back of his neck.
"Well, ask my wife, that. She's a stylist, I'm just a barber. We both nodded and went to his wife.
"Hey, can you dye my hair for me?" Fionna asked, politely.
"Sure, doll. What color?" We both looked at each other. We hadn't thought about that. "Black, I want it black." She said. Black? Like me? Hmm...
"Okay, sit in this chair, doll. I'm going to get the materials." The lady said. She nodded and then started jumping up and down in her seat. She had a huge smile on her face. So, she was mad/sad a second ago, and now she's happy? Weird... The lady came back in.
"Okay, tilt your head back." The lady said. Fionna did as she said.
"Marshall! Go away! I want you to see it when it's done!" She shooed me away. I shrugged and left. I was waiting outside.
"Marshall Lee." A voice said. I turned around to see Ashley, my ex. I frowned.
"What do you want?" I mumbled.
"You." She said, deviously. I smirked.
"As if." I said. She pulled me close to her. "Get off!" I hissed. She laughed.
"Oh, Mar-Mar. You know I was just kidding. I could never love you. No one could." She smirked. I boiled up.
"Ashley, go away!" I yelled at her. She looked at me, with a devilish grin.
"Make me." She said, standing her ground. I just rolled my eyes and looked away. She wasn't worth my time.
"Marshall," The door opened from inside. It was Fionna. "Look at me!" She said with excitement. Her with black hair looks pretty nice.
"Ha! Is this some kind of pathetic excuse for a friend?" Ashley asked. I pulled Fionna close.
"Girlfriend." I said, aggressively. She looked shocked. "Jealous?" I teased. I then grabbed Fionna's hips. And flew off. Leaving Ashley standing there like an idiot. Because that's what she was.
"You look amazing." I said. Fionna blushed.
"Ya know, you can let go of me. I'm a vampire. I can fly." She said. I guess she was right. I gently let go of her. She was flying. This is so different. Fionna, straight black short hair, a vampire, flying.
"Now what?" I asked.
"Follow me." She flew in a direction I've never been. We were flying into woods. Then, I saw a toad on a mushroom.
"Password, please." The toad creaked. Glib glob it! That toad can talk?
"WHATEVER! It's 2009!" Fionna yelled. What in the-
"C'mon Marshall." She said. The toad then ate both of us. We appeared in... Lumpy Space? Weird. Fionna held my hand and started floating. I floated after her. We ended up at some person's house.
"What do you want?" Someone answered the door. "Oh, Fionna! Come in, and who is this?" The lumpy person said
"Oh this Marshall Lee." Fionna said.
"Marshall, this is Bradette. LSP's ex girlfriend." Fionna said.
"Oh mah glob, Fionna. What happened to your hair?!" She yelled.
"Oh, heh. That's actually, why I'm here. I'm trying to change my style." Fio said.
"Oh, like what style?" Bradette asked.
"I don't know. Something different." Fio said.
"Something that's kinda black." I said, pointing at her hair.
"Ahh! I know!" She rushed into some room and came out with a suitcase. Suitcase?
"Oh, Marshall. She specializes in this stuff. She has a bunch of different styles of clothing. She bundles them up and puts them in suitcases according to size and style. It's an odd profession of hers." Fio said. Whoa. Weird. Fio took the suitcase. "Thanks, Bradette!" Fio said and I took the suitcase.
"Let's go." Fio said. I nodded and I carried the suitcase home. When we got there I gave the suitcase to Fio, before I opened the door. When I opened it, I saw Ashley, sitting on the couch.
