One Thing Led To Another: The Sequel

Chapter 1: Finally Found

It's been 2 years since Elliot's been kidnapped. Liv had the baby, it was a girl. Ella Serena Stabler. She was born April 22nd at 1:05 AM. After 10 hours of being in labor, out came a little blue eyed, brown haired baby girl. Every time Liv looked into her previous baby girls eyes she always saw him.

Ever since that day he left she had put all his belongings into boxes and stored them up in the attic. About 3 months later she was getting groceries when she bumped into an old friend. Brian Cassidy. They immediately hit it off and a month later were dating.

He was there for Eli and for the birth of Ella and every milestone with Ella. Liv was happy she finally found someone for Ella, and was happy to have someone take her mind off of Elliot.

Present day ~

Liv was sleeping perfectly fine, when she heard little footsteps running towards the room. Ella climbed up onto the bed and into her mothers warm embrace "Mama" she snuggled into Liv. "Hi baby girl, did you sleep good?" "Yep yep." She giggled. Liv smiled "Where's daddy?" "He'd maked breakfwast!" She squealed.

Liv smiled and kissed all over her face "Your such a cutie!" Ella giggled "Mama! It tickle!!" She squirmed around. Liv laughed "Okay munchkin, go eat!" She nodded and ran off. Eli walked in "Mommy." He held something behind him. "What's wrong baby?" She picked him up "What's this behind your back?" he sighed "I miss daddy." He cried into her shoulder. Liv saw Elliot's badge behind him.

She rubbed his back "Shh honey it's okay." He cried harder "Why'd he go!?" "I don't know baby, how about you come with me to work. You can hangout with Uncle Fin, and Munch!" He nodded and sniffled. She held him "How about you go take a shower and then we can go." "Okay." He whispered and ran to the bathroom.

She sighed and walked down to the kitchen. She smiled at the sight she saw, Ella was on Brian's hip while he fed her. They were talking and laughing. "Morning handsome." She kissed his cheek and held Ella. "Hey beautiful. I made some breakfast." "Thank you. I'm gonna take Ella and Eli to work with me." "Okay babe." He kissed her and went to get ready.

Ella ate her food humming to herself. Eli ran down "Mommy we go now?" "Let me just change baby then we can go." "Okay." He smiled and played with Ella.

Elliot stood up, he looked down at the body. It had been two years and he finally was free. He pressed the only number he could think of. Hers. He waited and he finally heard someone pick up. It just wasn't who he wanted. "Hello?" Brian answered. Elliot froze. "Hello?" Brian said again. "Bri baby hang up." He heard Liv say.

He dropped the phone, he fell to the ground letting out heart wrenching sobs.

He was finally free, he was finally able to go home to his family. What family? he thought.

He picked up the phone and called the next best number. Cragen. He waited and finally heard his voice. "Cap...it's me. I-I need your help." "Elliot! Where are you son?" "I-I don't know." "Stay on the phone i'm gonna have them track the phone." "Okay." He sighed and looked out the window, he was surrounded by nothing. He sighed, they would soon find him.

But where would he go?

Liv had walked into work with Ella on her hip and Eli holding her hand. All eyes turned to her when she walked in. She furrowed her brows "What?" they all gave her a look. Fin walked over "Liv, we have some news." "Okay? What is it?" "Um....we found Elliot."

Liv scoffed "Why would I care? That bastard left me and our children!" "Liv....that's the thing he didn't leave you." "So then what? He was 'kidnapped'?" "Yes Liv he was! He's on his way here. We had Munch and Amanda pick him up." "Yeah right. Stop pla-." She stopped when she saw the person walk in.

His blue eyes meeting her brown eyes.

He was beaten up, his clothes torn, bruises everywhere, blood all over him. The tears formed in his eyes, he ripped his eyes away from the stare between them and went to the cribs.

Liv didn't notice the tears running down her face, "Oh my god." She cried. Fun hugged her "I spent this whole time hating him thinking he left! All along he was being tortured!" "I know Liv, go see him." She nodded and wiped the remaining tears, she walked to the cribs slowly opening the door. She heard the quiet whimpering. Her heart broke.

"El?" He sat up and wiped his tears "I'm fine Olivia." Olivia. Not Liv, or anything. The only time he'd say Olivia was when he was mad, heartbroken, or all together. "Please go away." He whispered. "El stop this." She walked in shutting the door. He kept his head down, "Olivia go away!" He yelled. She flinched "Elliot stop."

"No Olivia! While I was being tortured you were with Brian being a fucking family!" He stood up, she looked into his eyes, fear. Sadness. Anger. All shown. He laughed bitterly "I was finally free, you know the first number I called was yours. I was hoping that you didn't change our number of anything, but apparently that's not what I had to worry about. Right when the phone was picked up I was so happy, only to have my heart ripped out of my chest when I heard Brian's voice, only thing to make it worse was when I heard your voice calling him baby. That day I was taken I left my ring hoping that you would get the hint that I was taken, hoping that you would find me the next day, or even the next few hours. But only to be disappointed, but you know what maybe it was a good thing I left the ring, now you can go be a happy family and i'll be out of your life."

He walked out. "Elliot please stop!" She ran after him grabbing his hand. He yanked his hand away from her "Mama!" They heard Ella. Elliot turned and saw his baby, his daughter. His baby girl. She was a mini version of her mom, except for his blue eyes. He couldn't help the smile that formed on his face.

"Daddy?" he heard. He looked towards the voice. Eli. "Buddy!" Elliot picked him up "I've missed you so much!" Eli looked at him "Daddy what happened to you?" Elliot sighed.

"A very bad man took me...he tortured me and hurt me. But through that all I thought about was you and Olivia. There was never a day that went by where I didn't think about you. I need you to know I didn't leave. I was taken." Eli smiled "Okay daddy I understand."

Eli kissed his cheek "I've missed you so much daddy! I slept with your badge every night, and I even play football now!" Elliot smiled, he missed out on so much. "That's amazing buddy. I'm so proud of you." "Daddy!" Ella yelled. Elliot smiled and looked at her, she ran towards him only to run behind him to Brian.

Elliot's heart dropped, he bit his lip holding back the tears. Liv noticed "Brian, what are you doing here?" She held Ella. "I brought you and the kids lunch." Liv sighed "Thank you....can you come back another time." "Sure babe. See you at home." He kissed her and left.

Liv turned back to only see Eli. She frowned slightly "Baby where's daddy?" He shrugged. Liv sighed and looked around. He was no where to be found. She slumped down in a chair with her head in her hands. She noticed a note on the ground. "Goodbye."
