Chapter 7 Onward To The Land Of Waves

We were on the Hokages office waiting for a mission. It felt like forever before she finally found one that suited us.
"Okay you have a C- Ranked mission. You are to go to the land of waves whilst guarding the bridge builder Tazuna. Asure of his safety until the bridge is built. Shizune send in our guest." After Tsunade said he that an old drunk looking man entered the rooms with a bottle of sake in his hand.
"These kids are going to protect me. You expect me to believe their ninja, and what about the short one how old is he 8?" Tazuna slurred. Everyone looked at me and sweat dropped anxious to see what I would do. I cracked my knuckles and shunshined behind Tazuna before whispering in his ear, "Shut up or I'll kill you." Then shunshining back to my original spot. He gulped and nodded. Everyone looked at me confused and wanting to know what I said.
"U-umm dismissed set out in five." Tsunade stuttered. I thought she was Hokage a strong almighty ruler. She looks like a weak little fish to me. I thought. "Kakashi- Sensei if your late you'll be in the hospital before you have the chance to say some stupid excuse. And we'll need a new  Sensei for about a month." I threatened and left.
At the gate
I arrived at the gate waiting for everyone else. Not even a minute later Sakura, Sasuke, Tazuna, and Kakashi showed up. Guess my threat worked. I inwardly smirked at my thought. 'Yep and if they new you were Death's Shadow they probably would have been here before you' Kurama said laughing at the end. We all left I was wearing my white ANBU style sleeveless shirt as always with the mask up like Hatake's I was also wearing black sweatpants and black shinobi shoes. I was using a genjutsu to hide my Akatsuki tattoo but even without the tattoo just by my appearance I'm surprised they haven't guessed who I was. We were walking when I saw two puddles. Like seriously it hasn't rained for weeks. I was at the back of the group and stopped. No one noticed good. I took out two kunai and threw one at each puddle. Hit 'em right in the center and continued walking. The morphed into people, dang it only hit their shoulders. They pulled out the kunai and slowly walked up to me. Can't let them know I know their there. So I kept walking they grabbed me and held a kunai to my throat. I screamed and the man put his hand over my mouth. Everyone turned around and got ready to fight. The man that was holding me disappeared into the forest, and let me go. I released the genjutsu and he saw who I was. Gasping he bowed down and muttered sorry. "You are here for the bridge builder right? Tell me who sent you and maybe I'll let you live." I smirked he gulped and nodded. "Gato sent us to kill Tazuna." He replied. I nodded "Get your brother and leave if I have to see your face again I'll kill you." I growled out. He nodded and I walked out hand over my Akatsuki tattoo. The man I was talking with looked at his brother and they both nodded before disappearing. I smirked, dang it I need two hands to make my genjutsu to hide this tattoo, oh well I'll just go into the forest. "Umm I gotta you know so um brb." I smiled and went into the forest.
Kakashi's P.O.V
Something's not right the rest of my team was talking with Tazuna and I took that opportunity and snuck into the forest to see what Naruto was doing. I saw Naruto and gasped when I saw the tattoo on his arm. He was wrapping it up. By the time he was done you couldn't see it. Naruto is Death's Shadow. That thought kept running through my head I ran back out and stood by my team, a minute later Naruto appeared. "Okay team lets continue, but first I would like to know why those men attacked us Naruto do you know?" I asked to my surprise he nodded.
"The were after Tazuna sent by Gato because Gato took over The Land Of Waves and if that bridge is built Gato will loose control over the land." He replied calmly. We were staring at him with our jaws touching the floor. Before Tazuna managed to ask him the question we were all thinking, "How did you know?" He shrugged his shoulders, "The Demon Brothers told me." He nonchalantly replied.
Time Skip
Naruto's P.O.V
We were walking towards Tazuna's house he offered to let us stay there. We were almost their when I swung  my legs under everyone's feet sending them to the floor as I got down my self. They were about to stand up when a large sword flew over their heads. It landed in a tree and a man stood on top. They all looked at me muttered a thank you then turned their attention back to the man on the large sword. "So Zabuza Demon of The Hidden Mist we meet again do we?" I asked. He looked at me and smirked.
"Indeed we do Death's Shadow." I growled when he said that. Everyone knew who Deaths Shadow was so they looked at me shocked. "Dang it Zabuza you just had to blow my cover eh you'll ruin my mission." I growled out. I appeared behind Zabuza kunai to his neck. I was about to slit his throat when senbon hit him in the neck. Temporary death hmm do they think they can trick me? I thought Kakashi checked his pulse confirming he was dead. I didn't believe it so I dropped on him and pierced his heart with my own kunai. Now he's dead. I smirked at my thought. A masked boy appeared behind me with a kunai but I took my own out spun around and killed him.
"That settles that shall we go?" I asked they looked at me and nodded we were about to leave when I turned around. "Tell anyone anyone at all that I'm Death's Shadow and I'll kill you and that person I don't care who it is." I hissed out they all looked at me and nodded.
Time Skip(Cause I'm lazy)
The bridge was finished we killed Gato and this land got hope. Mission accomplished we were now heading back to our own village.
Time Skip
We were back in our own village we already gave our mission report and I was wandering around town. What a peaceful da- I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Kiba scream my name. I turned around to see Hinata, Shino, Kiba, and Kurenai. I groaned "What?" I said a bit to harshly they flinched. "Wanna hang out?" Kiba asked. Finally a brave soul. I knew they wouldn't take no for an Answer so I smiled then shunshined home. What a peaceful day. I thought.
