"Hmm I wonder who that could be?"
I pick up the phone and answer it.
"Hello?"
"Oh hey this is Bryce. I was wondering if you wanted to do something today cause I'm not busy."
"Sure how about dinner 4:00pm at The Score."
"Yeah that sounds great I'll cya there."
Ugh no now I'm thinking about what happened last night, come on Elena get this out of your head everything will be alright.
I finally calm myself down enough that I don't think about it every single second.
"Hey mom I have a question and please don't make a big deal of it."
"Ok lay it on me."
"Ok so this guy invited me to dinner can I go please?"
"A boy invited you to dinner!? Is he cute!"
"Mom like I said do not make a big deal out of this!"
"Ok ok I'm sorry and yes you can go."
"Ok thanks mom."
"No problem but be safe."
"Mom!"
"Ok fine I am officially done."
"Good now I'm going to get ready."
I run up to my room and look in my closet to find what I'm going to wear.
I pick out some regular everyday clothes.
*5:00pm*
I wave to Bryce as soon as I see him.
"Hey."
"Hey come here I got us a table."
"Ok cool."
We go sit down at a tiny table in a corner.
"So tell me a little about yourself Bryce."
"Um well as here is not that much to tell."
"Well at least tell me something about yourself."
"Ok fine. I have a brother."
"I went something I don't know, tell me something about you that I don't know."
"Ok, ok. We both live alone in our house."
"How aren't you guys not old enough to live alone?"
"um let's not get into that it's a little personal and private."
"Oh sorry I brought that up."
"It's fine. Do I to.d you a little about me now tell me about you."
"Ok. I have a younger brother named Nick, our family moved from Florida and our dad died not long ago."
"I'm really sorry about your dad."
When he said that he had a really weird guilty look on his face.
*After dinner 7:00pm*
"I had a really fun time tonight."
I say.
"Me too, we should do this again. Ring ring. Oh this is my brother I got to get home I'll see ya at school bye."
"Ok bye see ya at school."
Elena- Hey mom could you please come pick me up now?
Mom- Sure I'll be there in 10 minutes.
Yeah so much for 10 minutes because it took about 30.
"Mom where have you been I started getting really worried."
"Sorry, sorry. I was picking something up from the store but I'm here now."
I hop it the car and wait and don't say anything until we get home.
*8:00pm*
"Dear diary,
I can't stop thinking about the weird stuff with Bryce's family. It's on my mind almost 24/7. This day has just been really tiring and confusing with all the stuff happening lately I just need to relax and calm down."
"I guess I'll go sit by my windowsill. Wait what's happening to Bryce it looks like he's going crazy and so is his brother. I am so going to bed."

"Mom I'm going to bed goodnight!"
"Goodnight sweetie, love you!"

I'm to lazy to put on clean pajamas so I just throw on the ones from the night before and go to bed.
