*Monday 7:00am*
"Hey mom why didn't you wake me up I'll be late to school."
"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that school is cancelled because of the bad weather."
"And when did you find out that school was cancelled today."
"Um like a week ago."
I just stand there and put my hand on my face and shake me head.
"I think I'm going to sleep in longer because I have not slept in in like at least a month."
"Ok sweetie I'll be u packing."
*12:00am*
Wow I slept in for a really long time I guess I should get ready (brush hair/teeth and change clothes).
*After getting ready*
When I finish and just step out a hear a huge bang and a very loud scream.
"Mom! MOM ARE YOU OK?!"
I sprint downstairs to see her laying on the floor with blood all around her head and neck.
I tried to talk and act as calm as possible as if nothing had happened.
"Mom tell me exactly what happened."
"S-something bit....me."
"What bit you?"
"A-"
As soon as she starts to answer she passes out and I know what I have to do, call 911, I dial the number and wait for them to answer.
"Hello 911, what's your emergency?"
"Something happened to my mom there's blood everywhere and she passed out."
"Ok stay calm we will be right there we just need your address."
I give them my address then sit by my mom until they get here.
They take her to the hospital, I don't know if she will be ok, I will visit her tomorrow to see how she's doing.
"Ding dong."
I walk up to the door and answer it.
"Hey I heard about your mom and I'm really really sorry."
There it was again that same guilty look on his face but I knew I couldn't ask him about it.
"It's ok, I mean it was probably just an animal."
"Yeah um just an animal. I gotta head back home call me when you get news about your mom."
"Ok thanks for stopping by see ya later."
*2:00pm*
I am still so worried if mom is ok, I also need to call Nick he has been gone all night with a friend, I guess I will do that now and get it over with.
"Hey Nick."
"Hey what's up?"
"Something happened to mom, she's in the hospital I was planning on visiting her tomorrow."
"What happened to her?"
"Well they doctors think it was an animal bit but lately I don't know what to believe."
"I'll call them later to see how she's doing and thanks for calling me about it."
"Your welcome."
I hang up.
*4:00pm*
Nick finally gets home.
"Hey Nick."
"Hey Elena, how's mom."
"Pretty good but the doctors say that she lost a lot of blood and might not make it, but let's hope for the best."
"Yeah. Well I'll be in my room if you need anything just come up."
"Ok. I have to go talk to a friend."
I head over to Bryce's house and knock on his door.
"Oh hey Alex is Bryce here."
"Um no not right now but I will text you when he comes back."
"Oh um that's ok you really don't have to do that."
"Ok I'll just tell him you stopped by."
*6:00pm*
For the rest of the night I do normal stuff like homework write in my diary.
After doing that it's pretty late and I decide to go to bed.
