*After school Tuesday 3:30"
"Cmon Nick get in the car we need to go visit mom."
"Ok, ok jeez Elena I'm coming."
We drive the very long distance to the hospital and finally after an hour get arrive.
We walk into the room that our mom is staying in, the room was in the back on the left side.
"Hey mom how are you feeling?"
I ask her.
"I-I am pretty good."
"That's good. When did the doctors say you could come home?"
"In about 2 weeks, I still need to heal a lot."
Right at that moment she started gasping for air rapidly, she started grabbing for random things, then her body goes stops not one movement.
"Doctors come quick!!!!!"
I see a doctor sprint towards us.
"I'm sorry kids but she's dead."
Me and Nick started balling our eyes out, we both walk in silence to the car and all the way home.
*At Home 5:30*
"Hey Nick, how are you doing?"
"Our only parent just died how do you think. Could you please just leave me alone right now?"
"Yeah, sure."
I walk into my room grab my diary and start writing.
"Dear diary,
Today has been the worst day ever I lost my only parent that I had left and I don't know what's going to happen next or who's going to take care of us life is just so confusing right now and I have no one to talk and no one to trust."
*6:30*
Oh no I forgot to call Bryce I'll do that right now.
"Hey Elena what's up?"
"You asked me to call you after I went to see how my mom was."
"Oh yeah, so how is she doing?"
"Well um pretty good except for that she's died."
"Oh my gosh Elena I'm so sorry how are you and Nick doing?"
"I'm ok but Nick, not so much."
"Well if there's anything I can do just call me."
"Ok thanks bye."
I hang up.

I decide to go to bed and not bother Nick about how he's feeling right now.
