II - The Proposal

Yui could not believe what she heard. Ayato Sakamaki was asking her to marry him. What could be better?

"Umm, Ayato I-" said Yui blushing.

Ayato hung his head assuming that her answer would be a no.

"Ayato my answer is," said Yui.

"Yes!" Said Yui as she instantly blushed.

"YES, YES, YES I FINALLY SAID IT. I was planning this for a whole month," said Ayato as he hugged Yui.

"So should we tell the brothers?" asked Yui.

"It is 10:00 clock now which is very late so will tell them tomorrow," said Ayato with a smile.

"Alright, let's go to bed," said Yui as they walked their way to the bed.

Ayato kissed Yui's forehead as they went to sleep.

NEXT DAY

"Laito, can you pass me that?" asked Subaru.

"Here," Laito passed it to Subaru.

All the brothers had been nice to each other, even Shu would participate in conversations. Everything was going well.

"Ahem," said Ayato grabbing everyone's attention.

"We have an announcement to make," said Ayato holding Yui's hand.

"We have decided to get married," said Ayato slightly blushing.

"Great job Ayato looks like you finally said it," said Laito smirking.

"Ya, it sure took you forever," said Shu.

"Teddy, don't you think too?" said Kanato talking to his teddy bear.

"What I am so shocked to see, is that Yui even agreed," said Subaru sarcastically.

"Shut up all of you, at least I said it," said Ayato.

"Yada-yada-yada," said Reiji while rolling his eyes.

All laughed and we had a great time. For the first time, I saw Shu laugh. This was all amazing, watching this beautiful view made my smile and bring tears of happiness.

"What's wrong Chichinashi? Why are you crying?" asked a worried Ayato.

"No, these are tears of happiness," said Yui wiping them off.

"So when is the wedding then?" asked Laito curiously.

"Oh wait, I will tell," said Kanato.

"Too bad little brother, I have already thought about it," said Ayato.

"We are getting married next month," said Ayato with a big smile.

"NEXT MONTH!?!" Shouted the whole Sakamaki house.

"What?" asked Ayato while covering his ears?

"Next month is too early," said Shu.

"Ya, Shu is right Ayato," said Subaru.

"For the first time I have to agree with Shu on this one," said Reiji pushing his glasses.

"Think about it again Ayato," said Kanato.

"Yeah, I mean when are we going to do the preparations and pick out the dresses?" asked Laito.

"There is nothing to worry about. We can take care of that," said Ayato calmly.

Just then . . .

KNOCK-KNOCK

"I'll go get it," said Yui as she went towards the door.

Yui opened the door and gasped. The brothers hurried to her.

"What's wrong Chichinashi? Asked Ayato worried.
