Betrayal...

One Shot #11-Lync Volan: Betrayal... Pt. 1

You got done taking a nice hot shower and changing. You wore a dark colored, long sleeved shirt and over it a simple broad strap dress that stopped at at the middle of your thighs. It had a white floral pattern that spiraled upwards as the colors at the top of your dress was lightly colored that descended down into darker colors. You wore black leggings under it that went to your ankles and tied your hair half up. Once you were done with your hair, you nodded at yourself in the mirror in your room that you shared with your twin  sister and exited the bedroom. You were heading towards the lab where your grandfather and twins sister, Alice, were working in.

Now, even though Alice and you were twins, there were some slight differences between the two of you. For one, you had much flatter and shorter hair then her, your hair only having slight waves in it and being just above your shoulders.  Two, your eyes were green and you were an inch shorter than her. Not to mention you didn't play bakugan, at least, not as well as her.

As you were walking down the hall, you heard the sound of somebody crying. You stopped and looked around to hear where the crying was coming from. You stepped carefully towards the entrance for the kitchen and peeked inside. You saw the pink haired Vestal, Lync Volan, crying as he sat on the floor near the table. You spotted a tray with food placed on it. You guess Alice must of made it for him since you recognized the soup. You took your attention back to him and  wondered why he was crying. You were about to enter the kitchen but stopped. You hesitated a bit, remembering being told by both your grandfather and Alice to stay away from him. He was dangerous and couldn't be trusted. But you couldn't just leave him crying...

You took a breath before stepping into the kitchen. "Why...Why are you crying?"

He jumped a little at your sudden question and, what looked like from behind, wiped away his tears before turning around.

"What do you mean! I'm not crying!" He protested as he turned around to face you.

You crossed your arms with a slight pout on your face before walking over to him and wiping a tear he had missed on his cheek with your thumb. You then showed it to him. He jerked his head away with a slight tint of pink to his cheeks.

"So, what if I am? What of it?"

You frowned a bit and got  on your knees before wrapping you arms around him. Even though he was a Vexos, you felt sorry for him. Maybe even pity.

"Look, it's okay to cry." You said to him. "It helps your bottled up feelings get out."

After a few seconds, you let go of him and sat on your legs before giving him a smile with closed eyes. You then opened your eyes and spotted the tray. You grabbed it and started to stir up the soup.

"My sister made this for you right? You should really try it, it's always great."

"Alice is your sister?" He questioned. You nodded

"We're twins." You stopped your stirring and looked at him.

"You two don't looked alike though." He stated.

"True, but we are twins. Fraternal I think was the word." You said, looking at the ceiling for a moment before lifting the spoon filled with your sister's soup in front of Lync.

He looked at it and then crossed his arms. "I'm not hungry, so I won't eat your sister's cooking." He said with his eyes closed and his head held up eye.

Then his stomach growled. And his face became red.

"Oh really?" You smiled at him, placing the spoon back into the bowl of soup.
