I woke up on the couch next to my sister who still had her dress on.

After her breakdown, or should I say break-up? Eh? Nevermind.

Anyway, we didn't go to sleep after that. We decided to watch a little bit of netflix. I guess I fell asleep first because I don't remember turning off the telly.

I stood up and went to my room to do my morning routine. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and put my hair up in a messy bun.

I went to the kitchen to cook breakfast. I decided on pancakes and started preparing for them.

"I'll be right back babe. I forgot my wallet at the car" Ryan said as he stood up.

"Okay" I said with a smile as I finished my steak.

He gave me a quick peck on my cheek and then left the restaurant. I sat there paiently, scrolling through my phone to pass time.

I looked up to check if Ryan was there. Nope. It's been, what? 3 minutes? And his car was parked directly in front of the restaurant.

I looked at the window and my whole world shatter.

Some redhead was leaning against the car kissing some boy. And it wasn't any boy. It was Ryan. And I would've assumed that the girl kissed him if he wasn't the one trapping the girl with his arms on car at the side of her head.

I felt tears run down my face. I looked away and covered my mouth with my hands, trying to silence my sob.

The waiter that served us noticed.

"Is everything alright madam?" The man asked with a smile.

I shook my head and motioned to my boyfriend snogging another girl.

The man's face fell. He put a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry madam. You know what? Your meal's on the house. I'm terribly sorry" The man said.

I removed my hands from my mouth and smiled weakly.

"Thank you" I whispered before dashing out the restaurant, my heels clicking and my purse hitting my waist as I passed Ryan.

I heard him calling my name. I ignored it and ran to my house.

Thank god it wasn't that far from the restaurant. And I'm even more thankful that my mom used to force me to run in heels just for fum. I never thought the day would come when I would thank my abusive mother but it just did.

After a few more minutes of running, I reached the house.

I entered the door and slammed it behind me, just in time for Ryan's car to pull up on our driveway.
