I took a deep breath as I stood in front of the familiar brown door. I raised my hand to knock but quickly put it back down. I turned around and mumbled to myself.

"Why am I evem doing this THIS early? It's 5 am, for goodness' sake!" I asked myself. I shook my head before stuffing my hand in my pockets.

"Come on. Do it for her. She's worth it, right? Plus, it's not like you're facing deadly monsters" I mumbled to myself.

"Hey Louis. You need something?" Sean said from behind me. The sound of his voice made me jump a bit and turn around. Sean was standing in the doorframe with a sleepy expression.

"I'm sorry, did I wake you up?" I asked.

"Nah. Woke up from a dream and I saw you here. So, what brings you here?" Sean said.

"I need to ask you and Adam something" I said nervously.

Sean looked at me curiously before stepping to the side.

"Come in" Sean said. I entered the door and he closed it behind me.

"Go sit on the couch. I have to go wake up Adam" Sean said as he went up the stairs.

I headed towards the living room and sat down. I put my head in my hands and went over what I was going to say.

"Hey man" Adam's voice said making me look up.

"Hey" I answered back as they sat down the couch oppsite to me.

"So, what's up?" Sean said.

"Well, you know me and Athena have been together for a little over 2 years now. And you both know how much I love her. Normally, I'd be asking the parents this question first but... yeah.." I said, pausing for a bit to take a deep breath.

Adam had a little smile on his face while Sean had his eyebrows raised.

"What I'm saying is, I want to marry your sister" I said.

Sean and Adam looked at each other, Adam's smile growing every second.

"And you have my permission" Adam said as he faced me.

I smiled a bit and faced Sean. Adam might be the oldest brother but Sean's the one who Athena REALLY looks up to and ALWAYS looks for his approval.

"Look, it's not that I don't trust you. But this is Athena we're talking about..." Sean said.

My small smile immediately fell and sorrow washed over me. Sean saw my expression and immeadiately grinned.

"Oh, I'm just kidding with you! Of course I give you my permission. I couldn't ask for any better man to wed my little sis!" Sean said as he bro-hugged me.

I hugged back and grinned like a mad-man.

"How about Sophia?" Adam asked as Sean and I separated.

"Oh, she already knows. She freaked out, actually. Luckily, she can keep secrets" I said with a smile.

"You got the ring?" Sean asked.

"Actually, that's my problem. You see, I can't really get the ring without the paps taking pictures. Athena will know for sure" I said.

"Let me guess, you want one of us to get it" Adam said. I nodded.

"I'll get it. That way, it won't be suspicious since I do have a girlfriend. I'll tell her the plan so she won't get a heart attack" Sean said, joking about the heart attack part.
