Chester watches Hannah and Grace walk away, his brain processing what just happened. He usually keeps his temper in check but the fact Grace actually thought he would do this on purpose sent him over the edge. He really truly cares about her, loves her even, in a little more than a friend way. And even though it is really shitty go see her so romantically invested in Hannah, she's happy, and Chester would never purposefully try to ruin that.

"Godammit, I need to fix this." He mutters to himself, going to find Mamrie to talk to her about it. He finds her backstage, rearranging stuff on the prop table. "Mame, can we talk?" Her head snaps up and she looks at him for a minute.

"What do you need to talk about?" She asks stiffly.

"Grace." Chester answers shortly. Mamrie breaks, stopping what she's doing and leading the way to their dressing room.

"Talk away, Mr. See." Mamrie instructs, sitting down on the couch. Chester sits next to her slightly awkwardly and begins his story. He recounts everything that happened in the theater lobby and Mamrie listens well, nodding a little when Chester stumbles over words to let him know she gets it.

"So basically I fucked up really really badly and now Grace hates me." Chester concludes.

"I'm sure she doesn't hate you. This is a really hard time for her, she's figuring shit out. I mean it's just a shock, the whole fanbase finding out she's not straight AND dating Hannah at one time and she didn't even plan it. She's just overwhelmed. It'll be okay eventually Chester."  Mamrie explains. Chester sighs, looking away. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know what I did wrong." Chester mumbles. "What about me isn't appealing to her?" Mamrie knows exactly what he's talking about now. She goes and hugs and him quickly and tightly before speaking again.

"It's not that you're not enough Chester. You're just not...her enough, if that makes any sense. You are more than enough, but that enough is meant for someone else. Hannah's enough is for Grace." Mamrie says. "Did that make any sense or does it sound like I'm tripping on LSD?"

"It makes sense Mames." Chester assures her.

Mamrie's phone rings shortly after Chester leaves.

"Hello?"

"Mame, it's Han."

"Yeah I know Hannah I have fucking caller ID."

"Shut up!"

"Okay okay, what do you need?"

"Grace needs a pre show group hug, she's close to a panic attack. Today's been a shitty day."

"Where are you guys?"

"Walking to the theater."

"I'll meet you half way."

~

"Come here and give me a hug!" Mamrie yells, running down the street to go hug Grace. Grace smiles, rolling her eyes and letting Mamrie squeeze her tightly. Hannah joins in and the three stand on the sidewalk hugging.

"Let's go have a great show guys." Hannah says. Mamrie and Grace nod. Grace feels her heart lift for the first time since the whole incident started. Soon the three of them are on stage, joking and laughing, like nothing ever happened. The fanfiction part comes up and Grace happily steps off stage to let Mamrie and Hannah jokingly smack each other's butts and awkwardly kiss at the end.

"Thank you for such a good show!" Grace calls out to the audience. "Goodnight Seattle!"
The three head off stage and go to the dressing room to gather up their things.

"I'll be glad to home after this." Hannah remarks. "I miss our house, and Goose." Grace smiles, leaving over and kissing Hannah lightly.

"I do too." She agrees. Mamrie chuckles.

"Gosh, lovebirds, get a room." Mamrie jokes.

Knock. Knock.

"Grace, can we talk a second?" Chester asks, leaning on the doorframe. Grace, exchanges a glance with Hannah.

"Up to you." Hannah mouths. Grace takes a deep breath.

"Sure thing." She follows Chester out into the hallway. "What's up?"

"I just-I wanted to apologize for what happened before, I was out of line saying some of the things I said. You have a right to be upset, and I know right now is a weird and confusing time for you right now. So I'm sorry." Chester rambles.

"It's okay, I shouldn't have gotten so angry. You're right, it is hard right now. But I'll figure shit out eventually." Grace says caringly. Chester watches her and he looses himself a little bit. Mamrie's words come floating back to him but weird and distorted. He no longer believes them. I need to prove I am more than enough, more than Hannah's enough. With that thought swirling in his head he stops thinking and leans forward and presses a rough kiss to Grace's lips.

"Grace it's time to go-WHAT THE FUCK!" Hannah yells, dropping the props she was holding. Grace shoves Chester off her, her whole body shaking, tears running down her face.

"Hannah it's not-I wasn't-I didn't mean to- I'm so fucking sorry." Grace stutters, choking on her sobs. Hannah just stares in shock, unable to speak. Chester's face burns red and he looks down, unable to understand why he just did what he did.
