**Nathan's POV**

When I dropped Kerri off I didn't want to go home. So I went to my best mates house, Jay. Out of all the boys I'm closest to Jay. Maybe because we're the two youngest. Now, you're probably thinking, "Who's the boys?" or you may know exactly who I'm talking about. I'm in a band with four other lads. And now you're probably like, "You didn't tell Kerri and you promised no secrets." but this is for her own good. If I told her I was in a boy band called 'The Wanted' she probably would never let me help her and she needs all the help she can get. Now the boys are Max, Jay, Tom, and Siva. We're just starting out and over Summer Holiday we travelled all over the UK doing as many gigs as possible. I just don't think Kerri needs to know all that yet. I pulled up to Jays flat and knocked. He might be out but it's worth a shot. Jay opened the door and smiled.

"Ayyyyyeeeee Nath how's it going?" Jay asked

"Nothing really. I just don't wanna go home." I said

"Okay come on in. I was about to eat. Want some?" Jay asked

"Nope. I am not eating that crap."

"Don't be dissing my food." Jay said

I went in his living room and sat down while he brought his food in there and turned on the TV.

"What's up, Nath?" Jay asked taking a bite of his salad

"Well, there's this girl.." I said

"A girl? Who is she? Do you like her?"

"Her name is Kerri. I met her at my new school. But she has problems."

"What kind of problems?"

"She cuts." I simply stated

"Oh no, Nath." Jay said putting down his food

"I'm trying to help her." I said thinking Jay will be just like my mum.

"That's great, Nathan. No one needs to hurt so much emotionally that they hurt themselves physically. Do you like her?" he asked

"Well I don't know. I guess I cant like her. I promised her I wouldn't fall for her." I said

"It's simple! Just get her to fall for you!"

"It's easier said than done, mate. And we both promised no more secrets."

"So you told her about the band?" Jay asked

"No.."

"You stupid git!"

"I know! I know! I just don't think she will let me help if she knew. I'll tell her eventually." I said sighing

"Mate, you need to tell her soon. What if she sees your face somewhere? What happens when we move in together at the end of your school year? And start to travel more? What if she sees your face on the tabloids? Then she'll definitely not trust you." Jay said

"I'll tell her soon, Jay. I just need to get her to fully trust me first. But this isn't the only reason I came here. I have an idea for a song.."

I stayed at Jay's until my mum called me. I told her where I was and I started for home. I couldn't get Kerri out of my head. Her smile, her eyes, her hair, her voice, her lips, that kiss. The kiss. That kiss was the best I have ever had. It wasn't long or deep it was just perfect. And she kissed me back. That's got to mean something right? I've only known this girl for a couple days and she already has this effect on me. I'm already kissing her. I couldn't help it though. It just seemed like the perfect moment. We have a lot in common. Our favourite meal is the same, we're both for United, and we both play piano. I want to get to know her even more. I want to help her. I started to hum the lyrics Jay and I just wrote a bit of. It's about Kerri. And someday I hope I can sing it to her.
