chapter two

as lola drove down the street that lead to michael's house, she couldn't help the butterflies in her stomach. she was planning on running straight into michael's arms when she saw him.

she parked in their already empty driveway and beeped, always the signal telling michael lola was there.

lola practically ran out and up the sidewalk and saw michael closing and locking his front door.

"mikey!" she basically screamed and couldnt help the huge smile on her face.

michael swiftly spun around and started running with a huge grin of his own plastered on his perfect face.

lola jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around him and as they hugged tightly holding onto each other they began to laugh.

"lola, babe, i missed you so fucking much i wanted to hop on a plane home half the time!" michael exclaimed, his australian accent got thicker and more sexy while he was away. he quickly grabbed her face to kiss her with one hand and holding her bum with the other.

he let her legs down and moving her arms length from him to look at her.

two months had actually done a lot to each of them. lolas beautiful black hair had grown longer and her skin had tanned a lot more too. michael had always thought his girlfriend was beautiful but he was really taken aback right now. she looked more gorgeous then ever.

lola also looked speechless at the sight of her boyfriend. she always thought of him as perfect, but today. he looked beautiful. he had dyed his hair from black and blond to a dark red and put a black snapback on completing his look. she was truly speechless at the sight.

"alright lola granola, we really gotta go if were thinking about being on time for school today." michael said with a sigh. " i can catch you up on everything that happened during my boring summer. and im pretty sure you have two whole months of excitement to catch me up on as well!" he grinned and opened the small door of lola's car allowing her in before kissing her sweetly and running to the other side.

lola couldnt help but to smile like a big cheeseball. she missed her boyfriend so much.

the entire ride to school was them talking about their summer and getting excited about all the little things like the beaches and ice cream places and horrible movies theyd seen, sadly without each other. and of course singing along to their favourite parts of all time low songs.

it wasnt until 10 minutes later when they were discussing all the thing they were gonna do to make up for lost time, that they realized how late they were for school.

lola laughed and hit michaels chest and he swiftly grabbed her hand as they jogged to the front doors together. michael gave her one quick, but passionate kiss before they walked in separate directions. 

lola walked down the hallway and even though she had the biggest smile across her face, she already missed michael again.

and thats just how lola and michael worked. they were lucky enough to be together and be best friends at the same time. it was all they ever could have dreamed of and more.
