Bella's pov:
We came down from the tree a little while ago and decided to go to our meadow. The beauty of this place still amazes me. How something like that can excist  in a world like this, where everything beautifull gets ruind. I looked at Eli as the sun made his face shine like diamonds. ''Could you tell me how you became a vampire, I would like to know.'' He looked at me confused at first as to why I would ask that, but after a little deliberation he seemed it was okay to say. ''Sure Bella if you want to know I shall tell you.'' He started hesitantly. ''It was June 20th 1918 in Chicago. I remember it clearly, my mother had passed only weeks ago by the spanish influenza my father had been gone for longer. I had gotten sick too I was close to dying when Carlisle came and took me from my hospital room. He was the doctor working there at the time. He took me to his home where he changed me as it was my dying mothers last wish. She asked him to do everything he could to save her Eli. The change it self was unbearable it felt like my whole body whas on fire. I must have screamed for days, and I'm suprised Carlisle did not decide to kill me to get rid of the screams of pain. Bella from one side I'm happy he saved me from the other side I am not. I'm happy cause without me being a vampire I would have never met you, but from the other side I feel like I'm living a damned life. Having to always check to make sure you are not doing anything suspicious having to constantly resist the temtation of killing a human.'' He looked at me with a stare of anger he hated himself for what he was, while I loved him for that. ''Eli don't hate yourself for what you are, I belong in your world too I felt like I never truly belonged in the human world Eli.'' I looked at him with determination. I was going to get what I wanted. ''What happens next Eli, when I'm getting older would you change me before that happens?'' He looked at me with anger. why would he be angry? I just want to spend forever with him. ''No Bella I'm not changing you I don't want you to have a damned soul too.'' Why would he think my soul wil be damned. ''Eli my soul will remain the same as has yours. You may have made mistakes but that does not mean you're damned.'' I stood up from the ground and started to pace. ''I belong in your world Eli don't you see. I never fitted in with the rest of the people around me I just never really belonged until I found you and your family, so I'm not just asking you this because I love you I'm asking you this because I love your world too.'' He smiled up at me which confused me. ''Why are you smiling Eli.'' His smile widened even more after I said that. ''You just wait and see.''
