Kayla's POV

"Where do you want to go after this?" Niall asked me, kissing my cheek.

"I don't know," I sighed, "where do those two want to go?"

Cheyenne picked up her head from Harry's shoulder and looked at me. "Hm?" she asked.

"Anywhere in particular you want to go after this?" I asked.

"Yeah, lunch,"

I laughed and nodded. "Harry, you get to pick the place,"

Harry thought for a second, and then frowned. "I think there's this cute little place near here," he said, "I can't remember what it's called though..."

"Oh!" Cheyenne said, "Is it the place you took me that one time? With the alfredo salad?"

"Alfredo salad?" I asked. That sounded interesting.

"Yeah! That place!" Harry said.

I had to admit, they were really cute together. "Okay, is it good?" I asked.

"Yeah!" Cheyenne said, "They have these weird combinations of food, but it's really unexpectedly good." She said smiling and laying her head on Harry's shoulder again. He kissed her on the forehead and wrapped his arm around her waist.

This was my third ultrasound, and today was the day that we were gonna figure out if it was Andi or Andy. It was the first one that Niall had been to, because he was on tour when I had the other two, and he was all excited.

"Calm down, silly," I said.

"I can't," he said, "I'm about to see my baby for the first time..."

"I showed you the pictures from the first ultrasound!" I said, laughing.

"I know, but it's not the same..."

I shrugged as the doctor came in.

"Afternoon, Miss Hatfield," Doctor Brock said. She was really nice, and had been working with me since I came in the first time. "How are we doing today?"

"Good," I said.

"Is this Niall?" she asked, holding her hand out to Niall and he shook it.

"Yeah, nice to meet you doctor," Niall said.

"Pleasure to meet you," she looked at Cheyenne and Harry and Cheyenne waved at her. "Hello, Cheyenne how are you?"

"Good,"

"Good," Doctor Brock looked back to me and put my file down on the counter. "So, are we looking at the baby's gender today, Kayla?"

"Yeah," I said smiling.

"What are you hoping for?" She asked getting the stuff ready for the ultrasound.

"I was hoping for a boy, but I think Niall is going to get his way..." I said looking at my silly husband. Wait...did I just refer to him as my husband? Oops. *Boyfriend.

He smiled and kissed my cheek.

"So, you think it's a girl?" Doctor Brock asked.

"I can feel her,"

"Most mothers can," Doctor Brock said, "Okay, you ready to find out for sure?"

I took a deep breath and smiled. "Yeah,"

She put the camera to my stomach and we looked at the screen. I heard Niall take a deep breath as he looked at the little black and white figure of a human on the screen. I smiled and looked at him.

"That's your baby," I said quietly.

He swallowed and smiled, biting his lip. It looked like he was trying not to cry. I squeezed his hand and looked back to the screen.

"Okay, you see right here?" Doctor Brock asked pointing to a section on the screen.

"Yeah," I said.

"That's where we'll find out, boy or girl," she said, "it looks like....it looks like you're right," she said.

"Really?" Niall and I asked at the same time.

"Mmhm," she said pointing to the section again. "There would be a definite sign of a penis there if it was a boy, and that is quite, quite obviously a girl,"

I looked at the screen and smiled. She was right. There on the screen was our little girl. I smiled and sighed. "Hi, Andi," I said.

Niall laughed and stood up. "Um, I'll be right back..." he said and walked out of the room.

"What's wrong?" Doctor Brock asked as Harry went after Niall.

I looked at Cheyenne, who could see them better from where she was. She smiled and looked at me. "Nothing," she said. "There's nothing wrong," she looked back out the door where I caught a glimpse of Harry hugging Niall, "Nothing at all..."

"We're having the summer get together in two weeks," Harry said as we were eating at the little place that he and Cheyenne were talking about. They were right: it had some weird food, but it was great.

"Okay, where?" Niall asked.

"Um..." Harry scrolled through his phone again, "Simon's house,"

Cheyenne and I choked on the food in our mouths as our boyfriends looked at us weird. "Simon?" Cheyenne asked. "As in the Simon Cowell?"

The boys looks at each other then back to us. "Yeah," Harry said, "that's the Simon."

Me and Cheyenne looked at each other and we could tell that our brains were on overload at this moment in time.

"What?" Niall asked.

"Oh, nothing," I said, "he's just...an amazing man that knows what he's talking about and successful and he fucking Simon Cowell I mean come on!!"

Cheyenne pointed at me and looked at the boys. "I second that,"

They laughed and shook their heads. "Well, you're going to meet him in a couple of weeks." Harry said.

"I cannot fucking wait," Cheyenne said.

"Hey," he said turning in his seat to look straight on at her, "what have I told you about cussing?"

"Oh, whatever,"

"Oh, whatever, I'll oh whatever you," he laughed and grabbed her and kissed her hard on the mouth.

"Hey, guys, PDA, please," I said.

We all laughed and continued eating. I don't think any of us were any happier than when we were all together. Everything finally seems to be going exactly right. And I couldn't ask for anything better than that.

When I got home, though, there was kind of a damper on my day. I got a call from dad.

"Hi, Kay Bear," he said.

I cringed at the baby name. "Hi, dad," I said, "what's up?"

"Arianna's in the hospital,"

I stopped in my tracks and couldn't breathe. Niall walked up to me and looked very concerned. I could feel the tears in my eyes. "What?" I asked, "Why?"

"We don't know, her temperature has risen through the roof and she's not happy, the doctors want to keep her and watch her."

I nodded deftly. "Right, um....keep me posted, okay?"

"Will do," he said.

"Tell Amber I love her, and I'm praying."

"I'll do that too,"

I swallowed.

"I love you, Kayla,"

"Love you, dad,"

"Bye,"

"Bye...." I said and hung up.

"What is it?" Niall asked. I just shook my head and hugged him. He held onto me tightly, and I prayed to God that my beloved little niece would be perfectly fine.
