Kayla's POV

It was about a month later around Halloween when Ed invited us to a little show down town London area. We were feeling....better. We weren't the best, but we were better.

It was in a little coffee shop that Ed usually played at when he was in London, he loved playing here. Cheyenne and Harry were along, as usual, and the other boys were there, but we were all sitting on different ends of the room. Liam had an old friend with him from Wolverhampton. He and Danielle had had another falling out, and I was pretty sure they weren't getting back together again. The two happily married couples were enjoying a night out, and the Maliks had brought their little boy Xander with them. He was the cutest thing, looked exactly like Zayn but with Perrie's dark blond hair.

Cheyenne and Harry were with us at our table when the little concert started.

I was so physically close to Niall that I'm sure half of the people in the place thought we were in each other's lap. The other half understood why.

Ed came on stage and waved to us. I was happy that I was here getting to see him perform. He was one of the most awesome gingers, and one of my favorite singers.

He played three or so songs and then stopped to talk a bit.

"This next one," he said, "holds a little more meaning for me now than before,"

I looked at Cheyenne and she shrugged.

"Recently," he continued, plucking at the strings of the guitar he was holding, "two very good friends of mine went through an ordeal almost exactly like this," he said.

Niall took my hand and held it tight. I had a feeling I knew what Ed was getting at.

"And it hurt me real bad, just like it hurt everyone else around them," he said, "We were all happy, all excited for this....miracle to take place...."

He was quiet for a minute.

"And then....it just....stopped," he said looking at us, "So, this one goes out to my good friends Niall and Kayla. I hope you get through this as undamaged as possible,"

He began to strum on his guitar and I felt the tears start in my eyes.

You were just a small bump unborn, in four months you're brought to life,

You might be left with my hair, but you'll have your mother's eyes,

I'll hold your body in my hands, be as gentle as I can, but for now you're scan of my unmade plans,

A small bump in four months, you're brought to life

I'll hold you tightly, I'll give you nothing but truth,

If you're not inside me, I'll put my future in you

You are my one and only.

You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight.

Oh, you are my one and only.

You can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight.

And you'll be alright.

Oh, you're just a small bump unknown; you'll grow into your skin.

With a smile like hers and a dimple beneath your chin.

Finger nails the size of a half grain of rice,

And eyelids closed to be soon opened wide

A small bump, in four months you'll open your eyes.
