Kayla's POV

Things got better. Me and Niall almost didn't leave each other's sides in the next two months, but we would soon have to. Just after New Year's, One Direction was going on a six month world tour, which meant that Cheyenne and I were finally going back to the U.S. The boys had released their latest album last month, and they were all working on new songs for the next one. Niall has been furiously writing the past four-ish months through the whole ordeal, and it's amazing how the songs have changed from songs of sadness to happy, uplifting tunes. Harry's been helping him with a couple of the songs.

The song Harry had written for Cheyenne had made it on the last album. It was the second most popular on the album, and it was between it and another song for the title song. They ended up coming up with an original name for the album and not putting a song as the title.

The only problem I could see was that Harry and Cheyenne were arguing a lot. It was small, irrational, stupid arguments that one or the other would start for no reason.

I had asked Niall if he knew what was going on with Harry, why he was being so on edge recently, and the situation with St. Mann that he still doesn't tell Cheyenne all the details about. Niall didn't know. I knew that's what was bothering Cheyenne. She wanted to know, wanted to help, but Harry wouldn't tell her.

I tried talking to her, saying that he'd tell her. She just got quiet and stared off into space.

"I'm worried about them," I said one night while Niall and I were lying in bed.

"I am too," he said, "we all are," he continued, "Louis has talked to me about it, he says that he keeps seeing little riffs come up between them, and sooner or later they're just going to make one big one. Zayn and Liam talk about it too..."

"I wish Harry would just....tell somebody what exactly is going on,"

"I think Lou knows," he said, "He at least hints at knowing, but he's not going to get in the middle of it. I think he might be trying to convince Harry to tell her, but I don't think it's working,"

"Yeah..." I said.

Me and Niall had a big argument just before Christmas, and I stormed out of the room trying not to cry. Papaw helped then. I swear, when I was thinking about how I wouldn't be able to spend any longer in that house, I heard papaw's still voice, "You hold onto that boy, and you never let go, you hear me?"

I sighed and smiled. I was being stupid. I went back and held onto Niall, saying I was sorry. He said that everything was okay now.

"I'm sorry I yelled," he had said.

"I'm sorry I yelled back," I said.

He smiled and kissed my nose. "I don't ever want to lose you," he said.

"I don't want to lose you either,"

He kissed my cheek and hugged me.

It was that moment that I realized that no matter what we went through or what happened, I would never leave this boy's side. I would always be there and I would never leave. I had fallen into a deep pit of his love and, you know what?

There was no way I was going to try to climb out.

"I'm never going to leave you, Niall," I said, "Promise,"

He smiled. "I'm going to hold onto you forever," he said. He leaned down to touch noses. "Promise,"

I giggled. It was something that we had both already known, something that didn't have to be said, but we knew. Now that it was said, it was more than real, it was beautiful. We were going to spend the rest of our lives together, whether we actually got married or not, we were never leaving each other's sides. Ever.
