"ANI ikaw si Grace diba?"
I froze in place.
"What makes you say that?" I asked
"Ewan kasi tuwing kausap kita it feels like your her." He said
I faked a laugh.
"If I talk to you it doesn't mean I'm her you know" I contradicted.
"Your right but it really feels li--"
"Feelings subside Finch. Yang nafefeel mo ngayon mawawala rin yan" I interrupted.
He stood quiet and we stopped dancing.
"You should probably go now CJ's waiting for you" he said
I was even more surprised to what he just said.
"You knew?" I asked
"Of course maraming fans ang nagle-leak ng info tungkol sa company niyo. And I already knew the moment I saw the two of you together" dagdag niya
With that he left me standing, surrounded by flowers under the starry night.
I shook my head and bent down.
"ARGH!" Sigaw ko
He's a lot smarter than I thought.
Kaya nga diba halos siya nang sumasagot sa lahat ng assignments mo?
I mean I now he's smart I just didn't expect that he's this smart! To the point that he'd guess right.
His FINCH for heavens sake! He's a jerk. A smart jerk. Hindi naman siya mukhang nerd. Mukha lang talaga siyang aso!
I looked up when I heard CJ call my name. He approached me and bent down the same level as me.
He patted my head and smiled. A sweet one. Do I look like a puppy to you?
"Let's go?"
I nodded. After that we walked towards his car and Patricia on the other hand was nowhere to be found.
It made me nervous.
The car roared to life as he turned the keys. He drove the car away from the house until the mansion disappeared on my sight.
Hindi niya talaga ako ihahatid sa mismong condominium kung asan malalaman niya rin na kapit bahay ko si Finch?
"Where do you live?" He asked.
"Umm... Near Avemary street" I answered.
It's not really on that street. Although there is another condominium on that street. Medyo malapit nga lang sa condo na tinitirahan ko.
I'm not making myself understandable am I?
"Dito na lang" sabi ko.
He stopped the car and pressed the hazard button.
"Thanks for the night" I smiled
Ngumiti rin siya
"Your welcome" he said
Bumaba na ako sa kotse and waved him goodbye as he drove away. When he's completely out of my sight I breath out. I hope no one notices me here.
I looked from left to right, kaunti lang ang mga tao ngayon. It's 9pm anyway almost 10.
I started walking around the block. It'll take at least 15 minutes until I walk on the other side of this street. And I'm wearing heels by the way.
