Agnes

My heart is beating.

It's beating faster than the normal heartbeat.

My hands are shivering. My feet is cold. And I'm feeling nervous.

It's still 5:00 pm. Why do I feel nervous? Because Pat told me yesterday that I'd be meeting with CJ right now for an invitation. An invitation to the company. Pat doesn't work only as my manager. She also works as a scout.

And CJ is scouted by her.

Siguro ito na yung tinutukoy niyang big job. Truth is I never expected him to reach this kind of job. I mean I do and he does have good looks. But never expected that he'd go as far as working at the same company as I am.

"Right this way CJ" I hear Pat's voice getting louder and louder.

Until they came into vision. 

CJ is wearing his school uniform.

Patricia offered him a seat right in front of me. He's across the table and Patricia sat between the two of us. 

"Good morning" he greeted me. I greeted back. 

"It's nice to finally meet you." I said. At this rate I have to act like I just met him. 

"But this isn't my first time. I've already met you remember during the shooting of your music video?" he reminded me.

I smiled at him.

"How could I forget?" I said.

Really. How could I forget that after filming that video. You've manage to make me think about it all week. So it's impossible for me to forget that embarrassing scene.

"Alright. That's enough. You can talk later." Pat cut in.

Tumahimik kami at nakinig na lang sasabihin ni Pat.

"Okay. Cabe, since you've accepted my invite to you to be in this company. You've still done step one. Later after ANI is done with an interview we will proceed to the president's office for the signing a contract." panimula ni Pat.

He nodded and carefully listened to what she's saying.

"After signing the contract you will be given another paper asking for your parents signature. After that when we've confirmed that your parents already agreed. You'll be undergoing training." Patricia continued.

"Question. If my parents aren't here in the country. Pwede bang mga relatives ko na lang ang mag-sign?" he asked.

"It's fine but we have to let your parents know." sagot ko.

"Right. It's very important that they know." dagdag ni Pat.

Tumango-tango si CJ.

"As I said. Once all the papers are signed. You'll be undergoing training. Since your good at dancing we will test your singing and acting skills. And ANI here will be your mentor." Pat said while pointing a hand on me.

"Ako?" I asked.

Pat nodded.

"Is there any problem?"

"What about my schedules?" 

"That will be my problem. I'll do something about that."

Bumalik ang attention niya kay CJ.

"Did you get it Cabe?" tanong ni Patricia.

"Opo and you can call me CJ." he said smiling.

Tinignan siya si Patricia at napa-hmm.
