I wake up to the sound of birds chirping on my window sill. You know in those movies when the bird's chirping on the window sill; the amazing and beautiful song it sings. Then the main character is oh so happy that she opens the window and starts singing or something? Yeah, well I'm the complete opposite. That stupid bird was annoying. I had the urge to do what the morning poem said. The morning poem was like my idol.
Morning Poem
I woke early one morning,
The earth lay cool and still
When suddenly a tiny bird
Perched on my window sill,
He sang a song so lovely
So carefree and so gay,
That slowly all my troubles
Began to slip away.
He sang of far off places
Of laughter and of fun,
It seemed his very trilling,
brought up the morning sun.
I stirred beneath the covers
Crept slowly out of bed,
Then gently shut the window
And crushed his fucking head.
I'm not a morning person
As I said. My fucking idol.
I checked the clock on my phone. It was time to get up anyway. I decide - for once - to be graceful as I get up from bed, like a Hollywood moment; I think it's better than getting up and death glaring my walls and any other item that so happens to cross my path. So when I do, I sit up and then, I stretch my arms above me....and end up falling on the floor rolled up in my blankets. What the hell happened? I groan. So much for my Hollywood star movie moment. I get up but I forget that I'm wrapped up in blankets so I lose my balance - again - and fall face-first on my carpeted floor. I groan for the second time in less that 1 minute and wiggle out of my blankets. I get up and pat away and imaginary dust and walk to my bathroom...death glaring every item that crosses my path. I haven't gotten on IMVU in a while...I wonder how everyone's doing besides my real life friends that I'll see in about an hour. I'll get on today after I finish my homework.
I walk out of my bathroom wrapped up in a towel and pick out my clothes. I go for a black skin-tight shirt, some white skinny jeans, and my pair of black TOMS. I pull my hair in a side braid and get my black Hollister hoodie and my booksack and head downstairs. I actually have some spare time so my mom makes me pancakes, bacon, and a glass of chocolate milk. Yum yum. I see my dad reading the newspaper on his phone and greet him. He gives me a knowing smile and I glare at him.
Don't bring that up, I'll kill you. We were only tickling each other.
We eat our breakfast, my dad making snide remarks every now and then and my mom looking confused. He hasn't told her apparently.
