Chapter 2: new arrival

Soon after 20 minutes had gone by the man from the other night wakes up breathing heavily from what happened the other night. Panicking he tried to remember what had happened when suddenly he gripped at his chest as he felt a sharp pain from inside of him.

It felt like something was trying to break his chest open from within which scared him more. Soon the pain grew unbearable as whatever was inside him started bending his ribs outward and he jerked around in pain.

Suddenly it just stops and for a brief period the man feels nothing as he tries to calm down. Then without warning the bones in his chest make a cracking sound as the thing starts to finally break out as blood stains the man's shirt. Crying out in pain he thrashes around for 6 seconds only to finally drop dead as the creature's head breaks out of his chest and lets out a small cute but scary sound.

Back where Sania was searching for her lunch she finally catches a fish and she holds it down on the soft grass. She meows cutely and starts noming on her lunch for about 32 seconds before she finishes eating the fish and lays down relaxed.

Suddenly there's a bright light as the kitten turns into a small neko and she puts her clothes on while putting up a small hood to cover her ears. She smiles and giggles as she walks around into the forest outside of the town happily holding her small bag unaware someone was following her holding a knife.

SANIA: that fishy was so good hihihi! Hmm, now where should I go next?

Suddenly she hears a sound behind her and she spins around fast.

SANIA: h-hello? W-who's there?

Suddenly the figure with the knife comes up behind Sania and holds it to her neck while pinning her to a tree. Sania scared starts to struggle and cries as the stranger pulls her hoodie off and just stares.

EVIL MAN: what the...cat ears? What are..you? Oh well you look young and cute so it doesn't matter!

SANIA: p-please, l-let me g-go... I h-haven't done a-anything wrong!

She starts to cry more as he ignores her plea and strips her down only to freeze when a twig nearby snaps.

EVIL MAN: huh?! Who's there?

The bad man is greeted with a scary soft hiss and a dark form as fast as lightening darts past him into the trees above.

EVIL MAN: show yourself!!

CREATURE: why are you trying to molest the poor girl? Have you no shame? She's way younger then you... Why not go after someone your own age...sicko..

EVIL MAN: who says you make the rules around here?!

SANIA: p-plz...h-help me...

EVIL MAN: shut up little brat and stay here!

The dark man ties her to the tree facing him and looks back up for the thing only to see it's missing and he gets nervous and afraid. Sania still crying sees a small sharp black tail appear behind the man as it suddenly stabs into his back. Suddenly unable to move the man is turned as the tail faces a dark black head with neon green eyes and neon green lines going down its back, arms, wings and tail.

CREATURE: you...your kind...are a plague on humanity itself...you make me sick and filled with disgust....

EVIL MAN: p-please let me go

*coughs up blood* I-I won't do it again!!

CREATURE: liar.........

The creature's eyes glow red with hatred as it's jaws open up and it devours the evil man's head then drops his body on the ground and gazes upon the young girl.

Sania looks at the creature scared and her tail covers her up as she wonders what he's thinking. He approaches her with his eyes locked on her's not even bothering to check her out.

SANIA: w-what are you going to do?

The creature is then surrounded by darkness and as the shadows fade a young hybrid adult stands in front of her fully clothed and he smiles kindly as he unties her and puts her clothes on then starts to walk away with his tail swaying slowly behind him.

Sania scared to be alone at this point follows him and holds his hand.

SANIA: S-sir..w-what's your name?

SYLORA: it's Sylora...

SANIA: u-um...thanks for rescuing me..m-may I join you?

Sylora smiles and nods as he holds her small hand causing her to blush and her tail wags cutely behind her while they walk to the city together.
