Chapter 7. Dragon vs. Voltrian

Sylora's side:

SYLORA: (it killed her father, I will avenge him for Sania and her mother! I will destroy this flying serpent! Bring on the rage!!)

Sylora crawls up far into the mountains searching every cave and slaughtering everything he comes across mercilessly in a fit of rage. Soon his bloodlust grows stronger with each creature that he devours and kills and his tail sways in the air behind him swiftly dripping blood behind him making a long red trail.

Soon he comes across a nest with eggs in it and sees a young dragon chewing on the bones of what looks like a neko and Sylora burns inside with fury as he comes behind the young flame drake and takes its head off without mercy as it doesn't have time to react and he smashes the other eggs open killing the embryos inside them.

Suddenly a huge red dragon flying far away eyes Sylora and let's out a roar at the sight of her dead children. Sylora looks up and suddenly his body glows a bright green and he grows to the size of the dragon and roars back as his wings flap furiously blowing the female dragon away from her nest.

She then breathes flames at him in her anger and he suddenly catches on fire and falls into the lake below. She lands on her nest and looks down and sees her young are no longer alive and she roars a sad sound from her loss.

Sania's side:

SARENIA: since when did you two, when did you fall for him? OoO

SANIA: it started off as just a small bond after he saved me from some stranger who was..going to molest me..I thought he was going to do the same seeing me tied up and defenseless but he didn't, he put my clothes back on, let me go and simply started to walk off.. >_>

SARENIA: so he never made any moves on you? O-O

SANIA: nope, that's when I..well I felt a little safe around him because all the men from that town were child molesters...but when he did nothing it caught my attention so..I willingly followed him. He did make me nervous at times like when he touched my tail and pet my ears. Then when we got into a hotel he gave me my own room to myself and never tried to get me alone and I slept peacefully in my own bed. When I told him not to do something he would obey, plus >///> there were times where he was a bit cute...

Sarenia smiles and she pets her head softly and Sania's small tail wags somewhat but not as fast as before.

SARENIA: do you love him?

SANIA: w-well....y...y-yes..but I don't know what his species are..he seems to be....well I've watched him closely and he doesn't seem to be from around here..and we met a werewolf a few days ago before we got here...he called Sylora an "outsider"

SARENIA: I've heard people call each other that but I've never heard a creature of the night call someone an "outsider" they are more intune with nature and he might have sensed something you didn't...

SANIA: aren't Nekos supposed to know this stuff?

SARENIA: well...we are more cute and cuddly so sadly we weren't made to be connected with the world that much...but...we did have scientists who did research before the humans destroyed their work...your father was one of them and his work is in this house. He was lucky to have escaped and he kept doing his studies here..

SANIA: what was daddy and his friends studying? Q-Q and why did the humans hurt us?

SARENIA: we may be cute and cuddly but we were smarter then humans and they feared us because of that so they stopped us from searching for the ultimate weapon to stop the destroyer from the sky...
