I pull into the student parking lot at the university. I breathe in and out, to calm myself. Today isn't a schools day. It's more of a "get settled in" day today.

I step out of my car, as I step out, I bump into someone. It's a girl. "Ow...oh sorry," I say. The girl looks up. Her dirty blonde hair is thrown into a messy bun at the top of her head. Her frame is thin and tall.

"Oh, it's fine. No problem," she says. Her eyes linger around. "So are you also a freshman?" She asks. I nod. I open up my trunk. My suitcases are too heavy. "Want help?" She asks.

"Umm... Yes please, if that's okay," I wince. She gives me a warm smile.

"No problem. I'll call my cousin over. He's right there," she points over to a tall, muscular boy.

"Luke!" She calls. He turns around. He has a marvellous light brown quiff and deep blue eyes, to die for. He's pretty cute. Evelyn you have Noah.

"What?" He rolls his eyes at the girl. She smacks his arm.

"Could you help her take her bags inside?" She asks. He turns to look at me. His face lights up and then he pulls on a sly smirk.

"Of course," he wiggles his eyebrows. I feel myself blush a little.

"Here I'll come with you guys too," she says. I sling my backpack over my shoulders and grab a light duffel bag as well. Luke, I'm assuming that's what his name is, because that girl said it. Anyways Luke grabs my two huge suitcases and pulls up the handles. He wheels them to the entrance. We follow.

"I'm Amanda, by the way," she says.

"I'm Evelyn, but call me Eva," I add. She nods.

"So Eva, what're you studying?" Amanda asks. I notice her sparkling light blue eyes.

"Journalism," I reply.

"I'm doing interior designing." Amanda shrugs. I smile. Luke hasn't said anything. Maybe he doesn't talk much.

Once we get inside, we walk up to the front desk. There's a sign that says Dormitory Claim/Information

A lady with a pale blonde bun sits there. She looks up at us, with a blank expression. "Ummm... We all booked dorms..." Amanda trails off.

"Names?" She says, and turns to her computer.

"Let's go one by one," Amanda mutters.

"Amanda Richards," she says. The woman types at her computer.

"Amanda Richards. Floor 3, room 12." She pulls open a drawer and hands Amanda a key. "You'll be sharing it with... Stephanie Clark," she says. Amanda nods.

"Um... Lukas Richards," Lukas says.

"Are you two siblings?" She asks.

"No. Cousins," Luke replies. She nods, and types at her computer.

"Floor 2, room 11," she says. "And you're sharing with Evelyn Sanders," she answers. I exchange a look with Amanda and Luke.

"Ummm... Th-that's me..." I blurt. Luke's eyes go wide. The woman nods and hands me the keys. We turn around.

"So you two... Roommates eh?" Amanda wiggles her eyebrows. I roll my eyes.

"Shut up," I say playfully. Luke still has that damn smirk on his face.

"Oh, I'm excited," Luke says. "I mean how hard can it be for her to get in my pants-" Amanda cuts him off.

"LUKAS?! Shut up, you're way too cocky!" She spits. Luke chuckles. I look down. I feel heat rush up to my cheeks. "Sorry, he's like this," Amanda apologizes. I shake my head and let out a stifled laugh.

Honestly, I'm a little excited. But Lukas seems intimidating. I don't know. "C'mon Mandy, you know that if you weren't my cousin, I'd have you-"

"Ugh, shut up. No I wouldn't Lukas. You're so dumb," Amanda hits his arm. Luke squirms away.

"Mom, she hit me!" He fake whines. I laugh. We head into the elevator and we go too our floor first.

"Okay, bye guys. I'll see you late. And Luke," she directs her face to him. "Don't do anything stupid," she glares at him. Luke rolls his eyes.

We walk down the hallway, and into our room. Room 11. I slip the key in and unlock the door.

Two queen sized beds, a large desk, couch, a really small kitchen with no room for a dining table. But it has a small fridge and a pantry. My grandma payed for a slightly better than the average dorms. This is the second dorm building. The better one I guess.

Luke drops my suitcases on the floor and they land with a thud. I notice his bags on the first bed. I also notice a tv mounted on the wall in between the beds. I explore the room and notice a microwave and toaster oven in the kitchen. Pretty good. I go back to my bed and collapse on it.

I hear my phone vibrate. It's grandma. "Hey," I say.

"Oh, Eva dear. Have you made it yet?" She asks in an alert tone.

"Yes, I've just arrived. But I need to unpack," I say. I see Luke glance up at me.

"Okay, I'll leave you to it," she replies.

"Thanks. I'll talk to you soon."

"I love you," grandma replies.

"Love you, too," I reply and hang up. I turn to face Luke who's staring at me.

"Love you? Who was that?" He asks, sounding concerned.

"My grandma..." I say in an obvious tone. He nods. I zip open my duffel bag and take see what I put in there. Undergarments, damnit. Can't do that right now. I don't want Luke seeing them.

I unzip my suitcase and take out the already folded clothes. They're arranged from tank tops, t-shirts, baseball tees, long sleeved shirts. In the other suitcase it goes hoodies, sweatshirts, shorts, skirts, bottoms.

Luke walks over. "Woah, they're so organized!" He gushes. I smirk.

"Yeah I'm always organized," I reply.

"Well, you're not gonna like living with me," he says with that dumb smirk. What's up with that? I roll my eyes. I grab out all the hangers I brought. I start hanging all of my clothes on them and then I got to our walk in closet. One side is mine. One side is Luke's.

I hang up all of mine, in the same order of how they were in the suit cases and of course each section is organized by colour! I'm too organized.
