A/N: I kinda changed what she's studying to journalism. Sorry but it makes sense in the future.
The whole day was a blur. Classes, classes and more classes. I was exhausted. As I'm in the elevator, I decide to stop by at Amanda's place. I knock on her door.
Instead of Amanda, I face a girl with hot pink hair and bright red lips. She's short, yet skinny and her eyeliner is bright blue. "Hello," she says.
"H-hi..." I say, as I'm still trying to take in her appearance. "Is Amanda here?"
"No. I'm her roommate, Stephanie."
"Okay, can you tell her Eva stopped by?" I ask. She nods and shuts the door. I walk up to my dorm after that.
I open the door, and I'm greeted by a shirtless Luke, in his bed. He's snoring as he sleeps. I roll my eyes and go straight to my desk. Need to get all the studying so I can be prepared. As I'm flipping through my books, my phone vibrates. It grandma.
I pick up. "Hello?" I say.
"Hello dear. How are you?" She says in her soft, soothing voice.
"Tired," I laugh. Grandma let's out a slight chuckle.
"Who are you sharing the room with?" Grandma asks. Should I tell her? She's really overprotective, especially when it's boys.
"Umm... A b-boy," I wince. There's a pause.
"Oh lovely. But you know the conditions. No 'you know what' until marriage," she says. I laugh. But I've kinda already betrayed her with that condition. ONLY once with Noah. But it was nothing extravagant.
"I know, I know, plus I've got Noah." I play it off. She was iffy when I told her about Noah. But once she met him she was fine.
"So how is he?" She asks.
"Oh wonderful. We get along great," I lie. I glance at Luke, still sound asleep. Good.
"Lovely. How about school?" She asks.
"Oh it's great! I've been looking at some internships and volunteer stuff. But I don't think I'm just ready yet," I explain.
"Yes. Okay, I have to run. Good luck with school. I'll call you soon. Love you," she says.
"Love you too, grandma." I hang up. When I turn around, I sit in horror. Luke is wide awake, sitting there. Smirking.
"So um wonderful?" He says. I roll my eyes again.
"Shut up. I didn't want her to worry about a jerk like you," I defend. He chuckles."Whatever. Y'know I don't know you too well yet... Let's talk!" He suggests. I stick my tongue out at him.
"Why?" I'm confused.
"Just 'cause," he shrugs. I shrug as well.
"Okay. Well I'm Evelyn Sanders. I'm 19 and I'm studying journalism here. I love reading and I like chocolate ice cream," I say, then burst into laughter. "Sorry it sounded really childish," I chuckle. He smiles, not smirking but smiling. It's so cute! I mean...um whatever.
"Okay, I'm Lukas Richards. I'm 19 also and I'm studying engineering here. But who cares about that shit," he laughs. I frown.
"But isn't that how you introduce yourself?" I question, curiously. He shakes his head, laughing.
"Let's play a game!" He suggests.
"Ooh, I love games! What game are we playing?" I say enthusiastically.
"It's like a yes or no game. I'm gonna ask you questions and you have to answer, using only yes or no as an answer," he explains. I nod.
"Okay. Let's start," I say. He smirks.
"You have to answer, remember, okay?" He says and I nod hesitantly.
"Do you have a crush on someone, besides your boyfriend?" He asks. Well I mean I kind of have one on him. But I just have to say yes, not explain."Yes," I say slyly. His eyes widen and then he recovers back to a smirk.
"Have you ever gotten in a fist fight with someone?" He asks. I chuckle. I was expecting dirty stuff. I'm glad this is how it is. Maybe he's not so bad.
"No!" I shout. "Why would I do that?" I laugh.
After about ten questions, that were pretty normal, he asks something unexpected. "Are you a... Virgin?" He asks. My jaw drops open slightly.
"Umm...uhh... I'm not gonna-"
"You have to answer!" He shoots. I look down.
"No..." I squeak. He gasps sarcastically.
"Young lady! What do you have to say for yourself?" He mocks a mom impression.
"Shut up. Like you're still one!" I snap at him.
"True..." He smirks. I knew he couldn't be one. Especially looking how he does. "How many times have you?..." He asks.
"Excuse me?! Why would I tell you?" I snarl. He chuckles. "But I'm not like you, so I'll tell you. I've don't it once," I say.
"Only? God... I've done it like 15 times, this week that is," he chuckles. I shake my head. I quick pang of jealousy hits me. Why?
"My turn to ask a question, I'm just gonna ask one!" I say, trying to get off the topic. "Do you have a girlfriend?" I ask.
"Um... No. I'm 'one night stand' duhhh," he says. I widen my eyes. I then go to my bed. He's a cocky jerk.
"I'm done with this game." I pull out my phone. I check my texts and emails.
"Why?" He asks.
"Just because it got really weird!" I defend and get off of my bed. I go towards the closet to pick out my clothes for tomorrow. Yes I'm one of those people.
"But I still haven't gotten to know you yet..." I hear Luke right behind me. He wraps his arms around me. I stop in horror. But I stay there, he's so warm. I wanna stay wrapped up in his arms forever. It feels almost... Right.
Eva what are you doing?! Noah. Noah. Noah. No other person! I squirm away. But I want it so badly. What am u doing? It's the second day. I can't get attached, pulse he's Mr One Night Stand. I don't want that. Or do I? I shake my head. I'm delirious, I need sleep.
I grab my pyjamas and push Luke out of the closet. I lock the closet door and change into them and walk out. "You're going to bed already?!" He asks. "It's 5:00 p.m."
"No, I'm taking a nap!" I roll into my covers and shut my eyes. I want to get a few winks, so I can study later.
