Chapter Eight.

"Evelyn, will yu go out with me?"

When I heard those words my heart stopped. I can't believe that he asked me that.

"Yes." I didn't hesitate to say. He hugged me and then kissed me on the check.

I could tell that my face was red. Very red.

"AWWWWW!!" I heard Katelynn say.

I looked at her and smiled. Everyone began talking like nothing happened.

Anthoney then entered the room "I have some bad news girls..."

Me ans Katelynn looked at each other. Everyone else was looking at Anthoney.

"What?" We said in unison.

Anthoney scratched his head like he was trying to find a way to tell us. "The competition has been canceled. I'm so sorry. I know how much you two have worked for this."

Everyone began looking at me to Katelynn and then back to me.

"Its okay."

"Yeah. it really is"

I was really upset that the competiton being cancelled but I didn't wanna show it.

I looked at my clock and it was 11:34 .

"I am going to bed." I got up and went to the room that I was sharing with Austin. I changed into my pjs and went to bed.
