Jacks P.O.V

"So um how does it feel to have a twin?" rose asked akwardly which I thought was quite cute. Me and finn looked at one another shrugging together making her smile slightly.

"Annoying but very deceptive in others eyes" finn answered as her scent made my throat burn. Lord Harry had warned us about her powerfully unusual blood but I never would have guessed I would long for it so much.

"How long have you known the lords?" she asked as we seemed to be having a small chat amongst ourselves.

"395 years, you?" I replied as her eyes widened from the time that only felt like yesterday.

"Um three days" she quietly stood up as her long chestnut waves flowed down to her bum. The skirt she wore seem short but her legs looked unbelievably perfect. Her heart beat vibrated the room making my veins ache while we followed her as she walked out of the dinning room.

"How old are both of you?" She asked walking in front.

"414 years of existence" it was silent for a couple minutes as I'm assuming she did the calculations in her head.

"Did um, Did Harry -"

"Yes Lord Harry turned us" Finn harshly stated and she nodded as we all resumed walking. After a few minutes we reached a door that I assume is her room as she walked inside. We followed because Lord Harrys orders were very precise in not leaving her side.

" You don't have to answer if you do not wish but, when you sleep do you ever dream?" She picked up a book on the side of her desk looking at me and finn with her bright blue eyes.

"No we don't." I walked out first as she soon did the same while Finn closed the door behind him.

"You like to read?" I asked walking next to her as she nodded looking down at the book.

"Yes, although I have never read a book with such high vocabulary before" her american accent was prominent making me smirk at how simple her words and thoughts seemed yet intense her whole presence was.

"Do you know a women called kendall? She apperently used to be Harrys lover" her question came out of no where after a couple minutes of silence while we ascended a staircase.

"Well. She was the lords lover but no one ever really likes to talk about her. They say she brings bad luck" Finn said while all of this walking was making me bord.

"What happened between them?" She finally opened the door to what was the attic of the palace.

"They were in love and stuff but she was human and Lord Harry was well, not. She would always beg him to turn her into a vampire but the Lord always said no. One day I guess he finally did what she wished because now she is vampire Air. But on that same day she left leaving Lord Harry with many wooden stakes through his heart and a kiss on the cheek. He was in line to become a Lord which is why he didn't die. No one really knows why exactly kendall did any of those things but there was a rumor saying that she was never in love with him at all." I could feel her eyes on me the whole time I explained. I looked at her and she seemed sad making me wonder why she cared so much.

"And who is Adam, why is he such a threat to the palace and the Lords?"

"Adam was one of Lord Harrys best mate but tried to kill both him and kendall which is why Lord Harry banished him almost killing the man if it wasn't for Kendall"

"What did she do?"

"She told Lord Harry that Adam was like family and if he killed Adam then she would be devastated. Lord Harry always did as kendall wished, the whole palace was practically controlled by her, so Adam got away and a month later when she turned into an Air vampire she disappeared too" Finn finished off as the topic didn't seem to interest either of us but it looked as if it had gotten a bit of a hold on Rose.

"Did she have strong blood like me?" Rose looked up from the book in her lap and me and finn laughed softly.

"Of course not love, there was nothing special about her besides the fact that she was beautiful. I have never met or smelled anyone whos blood is as addicting as yours" I smiled but she didn't seem to find it flattering while her cheeks flushed.

"You both know alot about Harrys past" her voice soothed me as im sure it had the same effect on Finn as well.

" I guess its because all of the Lords trust us and we trust them as well" Finn smiled and she nodded giggling slightly.

"What?" I asked and her cheeks were very flushed from her laughter.

"Its just that you all act like big bad vampires but when it comes down to it your just like a family" she smiled and finn and I did the same laughing slightly already imaging Harry being the annoying nagging mother.

"Im sorry if I am annoying you both its just that before I met the Lords I rarely ever talked to people." She seemed embarrassed but Finn smiled seeming interested in her just as much as I was.

"You're not love, its okay to be curious especially if you're different then everyone else in the palace." My voice rung through the air and she looked up greatful of my words.

"Thanks-

"Rose stay up here. Jack, Finn don't let her out of your sight. Got it." Lord Zayn busted through the door interrupting us seeming harsh as if something happened down stairs. Me and Finn stood up instantly nodding our heads as I closed the door pushing a dresser that was bulted to the floor against the door.

"Here put this on" Finn wrapped Rose in a huge blanket trying to suppress her scent. I through wood into the fire to create smoke as Finn took out his gun.

"What's going on?" Roses voice sounded small and sweet as she sat in the corner farthest from the door.

"I don't know but I think, we are being attacked." I smelled the air her strong blood drifted around us making me take out my knife and gun. I slit my hand as the blood poured from it.

"Jack what are you-"

"Here this should hide you a bit better" I wiped my blood on her cheek as I already started to heal. Her heart beat quickened while she seemed scared.

"Hey you're going to be fine love" finn promised but she shook making me feel sorry for her.

"What about you two? If something happens to either of you then I won't hesitate to jump in okay"

"Look we are all going to be fine" I sighed looking at the door closing my eyes trying to hear what was going on.
