Roses P.O.V

The castle still shook with the thunder that roared outside as we walked down a hallway and at the end was a black door that reached the ceiling. When Harry opened it there was a long table stretched out from where we were to the other side of the room.

"Woah" was all I managed to say and I saw harry smirk out of the corner of my eye.

"Sit down Rose" Harry half smiled as he pulled out a chair for me on the other side of the room. I didn't even see him leave my side.

"Um, okay" I hesitated at first still not used to them being really fucking fast but I walked over to him which Im sure felt like a year passed. I sat down turning to see Harry already in his seat when he just pushed mine in. The rest of the boys sat around me as Harry sat at the head of the table while I was about to say something someone else spoke.

"Lord Harry, may I ask what wine you will be having today sir" The old butler man to the left of me asked slightly bowing at harry before he spoke. I remember this man, he was talking to one of the lords yesterday at the reunion. I wonder why he is the only male servant here?

"Yes Charles, give me the 1789 Chateau Lafite " Harry's accent was prominent and cold while Charles I presume, walked away once again bowing. I played with my hands as the room fell silent but it didn't last very long.

"Rose what is it you would like to eat today?" Niall's voice made the room echo making me snap my head up.

"Anything would be fine really" I smiled slightly as I felt all of their stares on me.

"Steak it is" Louis smiled making the air in here less stuffy-er.

"Rose, how did you make a living out there in the world?" Harry's question was persistent not giving me a choice in answering the matter but also very random.

"Um, well, I guess when your human there's no such thing as living anymore... Its mostly about surviving." There was a short pause while I processed how to correctly answer his question

" To answer your question, I would have to say I wonder that exact same thing everyday." I was staring at the table when I spoke and I knew they were all staring at me because they always did. Like I was some deformed creature that they wanted to understand. But what's odd is that they too were once human like me, which is hard to imagine since they turned into something like this.

"And your family?" Harry asked again breaking the silence that was slowly consuming me.

"They died along time ago and I never had relatives" my words were blunt and dull but I spoke the truth and as I'm sure he or one of the other lords were about to reply the door to the left of me opened and out walked three maides holding plater dishes with silver domes on top. They set one in front of each of us and lifted the lid revealing a medium rare steak with a salad on the side and mash potatoes. I looked up at the other lords dishes and theirs all looked barley cooked. Like it was still raw. I cringed at the sight as blood leaked from the spongy herbivore dish.

"Do you not like your food Rose? " zayn asked across from me making me shake my head.

"Yes I love it thank you" I smiled picking my fork up and eating my food. Minutes passed and Charles popped up next to me making me jump at his sudden appearance as he poured red wine into all of our glasses.

"Thank you Charles" I seemed to be the only one thanking him as he nodded walking to the side awaiting to pour more wine. The room was quiet again and the only thing you could hear was the burning fire and the forks as they scrapped against the China. I wanted to ask harry about the library in the same hallway as his room but couldn't find my self to do so only making me reach for my wine glass. I looked up for a split second making me freeze as I stared at the person behind Liam.
